bought this for a friend he says it plays ok,good film worth watching

Great western from director John Sturges (most famous for The Magnicent Seven and The Great Escape). Bad man Richard Widmark really dominates this film. Deserves to be much better know. If you like this I highly recommend watching Last Train from Gun Hill from the same director.Plays in English without any subtitles apart from two very brief moments both at the beginning the film title and a watch shop sign.

good and unusual western. Widmark particularly good as the baddie. He plays these parts so well. enjoyed film very much.

This is one of John Sturges' greatest westerns.Robert Taylor is a reformed outlaw who had saved his friendRichard Widmark from the gallows and wishes he hadn't.Widmark forces Taylor to search from some buried lootleading to the eventual gunfight in a ghost town.Beautifully acted , scripted and photographed ( by that master cameraman John Surtees)Richard Widmark steals the acting honours.This is an exciting tense movie well worth getting.This product is is very well produced(although a spanish release-Region 2- the english version is easily obtained from the menu).5 STAR entertainment
