We live in a "colonial" style house, which sounds grand, but just really means we have a basement, main floor, and second floor. We sleep on the second floor and our laundry room is in the basement. For decades, we managed the stairs and the laundry baskets with varying degrees of success. Well, not anymore. After one too many stumbles, we have moved away from carrying baskets up and down stairs to these handled carriers. The two bags I am reviewing are what we use to carry clean clothing and towels up from the laundry room. The dirty clothes go into another product that we also got from Amazon. I read others' reviews, and was concerned that these carriers would not be sturdy, but ours are. They do stand up fairly well for plastic lined fabric. They can fold down, but I would think that if you fold and unfold a lot that the sturdiness would probably be compromised over time. Again, ours are standing up just fine. They hold a lot: I carried a load of 4 large, fluffy towels and had room to spare. And I think they will hold up pretty well over time. I think they would be great if you have a summer cottage: storage for clean and dirty beach towels. They look fine, too; they blend into a lot of decorating styles, imho. We are glad we got these. Hubby, who is retired and newly into the domestic arts, just sings the praises of these carriers.

Steht von allein ohne lästige Stäbe, aber auch soft genug um sie mühelos von eine Etage in die nächste zu tragen. Super Design und innen feucht zu reinigen. Für unseren 3 Etagen Haushalt klasse Produkt hab sie auch in anthrazit gekauft

I love the size of these laundry bags and it is a 2 pack!!! One for colours and one for whites, as I DO separate my loads... However, the size is large enough for one basket to hold everything, since I only do laundry for 2 people... The baskets are sturdy, stand freely, and the handles are strong... They collapse if you want them to, but sometimes if you shove an armful of clothes in and something catches the side of the basket, it'll implode on itself, but simply pull up on the handle or the rim, and you're good to go again... These do get a bit heavy and cumbersome if I let clothes pile up and my basement steps are narrow, so it can be a challenge sometimes but I love these baskets: they are not the cheap, weak plastic ones that bend and become useless quickly... The colour is perfect as it is neutral and I personally like the canvas... The only complaint I have, which is more of an annoyance than a majour problem: the sound they make.... It bothers me... These are worth the price! And no smell when I took them out of the plastic in which they were packaged...

Package came so compact didn't believe it was as advertised. Opened and was amazed at the size, quality and asthetics of the baskets. Would recommend...especially the price point...great!!
