I bought this for my little brother jonah a week ago and he hasn't let them out of his hands sense then.
The toys are very cool and i read the comic book to him. He loved it. he has been playing with dark wolverine and symbiote spiderman alot. He loves marvel. these toys would have been my dream too at the age of 6! one problem though wolverines hand fell off and got lost. the other hand seems to stay on perfectly, i think he just got a defective toy, it happens. but overall great product! very durable and high attention to detail.

Venom and Daken!
If you're not familiar with the Dark Avengers, you probably think these are just some weird alterna-verse variants of Spidey and Logan. Truth is, they're not, it's Mac Gargan as Venom and Daken, son of Wolverine. Both are pretty sweet. Venom is in his Spiderman disguise, but the build for the figure gives him much more muscle mass than other Spidey figures, which is a cool touch. Daken is molded after the new Marvel Universe Wolverine figures I believe, and not the Origins figures, which is awesome. He's a bit thinner than Venom, has his trademark tattoo on his left arm, and even his 2 claws on top, 1 claw on bottom. Both have pretty great poseability, as we've come to expect from the MU line, and luckily, both can achieve sort of squatting or crouched positions like they would be in normally, unlike the X-23 figure which could not sadly. The painting is also pretty well done, and they seem of the more durable variety and don't have any small parts or accessories to lose/choke on if you're giving it to a kid. Another nice addition is the Dark Avengers comic that comes with it, which is pretty rad. A lot of action and a good way to show off the characters. My only gripes are that I wish Daken was in his red and black suit instead, like he is in the comic, but with how rare it is to find a figure of him (something I imagine won't change anytime soon) it's not a big deal. Also would've been nice to have a base like the other figures, but unfortunately I think these multi-packs tend to be without them. And then there's of course Daken's claws. No one can ever seem to get Wolverine-esque character's claws right. They always make them out of rubber to be more durable instead of hard plastic. While yes, they won't break near as easily, they are almost always bent out of packaging...but I digress.Try and look around at local stores before you buy it here though. I got it at a good deal for about $13, glad to not have to pay the $30 tag plus shipping you'll pay online. Overall, great figures.

Daken
Right on I had no idea they made a Daken action figure i checked both daken and dark wolverine and found it by looking up iron patriot(norman osborn aka green goblin) the leader of both dark avengers and dark x-men... This isn't the Wolverine everyone knows this is Daken Wolverine's son i am sure most people wouldn't of known this since Daken is a character that isn't well known. which is why this action figure has a tattoo on his left arm. Daken isn't a fan of his father who he would like to kill if that was possible they had an alliance for a short time but didn't last daken also does not have an adamantium skelleton like his father but shares all of the powers his father has including claws which is later to be his only metalic part made out of the muramasa sword a sword that if used on daken or logan could slow down the healing to that of a normal person the blade was made using logan's blood during his time in japan in which daken was also concieved as wolverine's wife was killed he thought his son was also lost but healing factor kept daken alive (blames death of mother on his father). since the metal is dangerous for both daken and wolverine a sheath was built inside daken's arm to protect him from the muramusa. daken would call himself wolverine and dress up like him to mock his father but logan's reaction was oh good maybe i could take some time off as logan loves his son even though daken hates him... I do not own these action figures but it looks as if they come with a comic the daken comics and dark series are a little more focused to an older audience so i would suggest not let little ones read it if bought for a younger child.

Detailed and nice to look at; but, more of a collectible
I bought these for my 4 year old son, because he loves Spiderman 3 and X-men characters. We bought these toys to play with; not to display on a shelf. The Venom figure had his leg pulled off within minutes; but, luckily, it popped back in.The comic is definitely adult reading; not child appropriate. I am not into comics; but, to me, it had little value for the package. If you're looking to buy this as a play toy; it's okay. If you're looking to buy it as a collectible; it's more likely you'll be satisfied. We have fun playing with it; but, it doesn't compare in durability and value to other figures my kids have.

Favorite comic pack of all time (So far)
-Pros-1-Black Spider-Man comes with metallic purple throughout the figure, especially on the legs.2-This Wolverine has been made lots of times, but this one...Has better paint, claws (2 claws on top hand, one near thumb), and shading throughout the figure.3-Dark Avengers #1 comic. (great comic) Not for resale unless you buy it MINT in the box! (worth it!)-Cons-1-Wolverines head can't really move up, in the pose I have him, it doesn't really look right (He's in the air about to attack an A.I.M soldier, and he looking at Things arm, which is also a MU comic pack)Overall, GET THIS COMIC PACK! You will NOT regret it. Buy it mint for the comic, because people can't sell it otherwise! You might be able to find this cheaper on eBay, from what I have seen, their all around the $50-$100 range. And if you're willing to spend that, don't buy it for playing reasons, MU is made for display, their so small, I wouldn't think kids would enjoy play with them anyway. Thats what Marvel Legends are for. (I display my Marvel Legends as well)
