A bit bulky but very sturdy and strong. I lost my badge prior to buying this for my replacement and I feel like I can never lose it again. On top of it having the secure hook, it also has the pull on it. So I never unhook it from my backpack. I can grab it and pull it to scan into my job everyday and I love that. It’s easy to use and I feel my badge is secure in it daily.

This ID holder is tough enough, if not more, for the everyday use. The carabiner portion is a bit bulky for my liking as far as attaching to your belt loop or shirt. It’s more rugged and suited for a backpack or something exterior from your clothing. Unless you’re of bigger stature, then maybe it’ll be your thing. Its functionality is fine and will more than satisfy the purpose of your purchase. I would recommend this to anyone who gets tired of the cheap plastic holder your company pushes off on you that continues to break or allows your cards to fall out.

Not a huge issue, but if you need the metal belt clip, only one has that. Both have a retractable cord with a key ring and badge holder and a keychain carabiner but only one has a belt holder clip. Looks sturdy and functional, but I have had a previous badge holder with the braided cord in the plastic, and that eventually broke. Just something to keep in mind. Will be great for keeping my badge and keys for work accessible!

The ID holder that was given to me when I first started working within my city in the solid waste department was beginning to rip and I needed a new replacement. When searching for a new one I saw this one and wanted to give it a try. This ID holder was worth it because the material is made entirely of plastic, but sturdy. With the addition of the retractable cable is made with a form of metal wiring, enabling the holder to easily pull on the ID to scan entry to a door or other uses at work. I currently have 3 cards within this ID holder and since then of the purchase I never had any issues of this product.

Durable and convenient! The clip is high quality, holding strong even when I’m yanking hard at it. The steel cord is a nice touch. It’s been helping a lot at my work where I’m constantly badging in and out of machines.

This is real heavy duty. Very thick plastic square holds the badge, with a mostly open face on one side. Basically I have it on a small d-ring on my belt loop, on my side, and I tuck the badge holder part into my back pocket, without stretching the cord. whole thing hangs down a little, reason for tucking it into pocket. Scans well to an RFID badge reader.
