Easy to Use
This adapter enables you to view the output from modern HDMI output devices, on older TV's or monitors which are only equipped with a Scart connector.It can be powered from any 5v source such as a power-bank or USB phone-charger.Obviously picture quality is not HDMI quality, but it's certainly watchable. All you need to add is a power source and a standard Scart cable.

Good value for money!
This adaptor works well, although it can be a bit erratic on initial start-up, sometimes giving a picture with no sound, or sound with no picture, or just a 'test card'. Switching it off and back on again, in the traditional fashion, always seemed to resolve the problem. I used it to connect a Panasonic digital recorder / receiver to an old analogue portable TV and it's possible that the problems on start-up were being caused by those items. Once it was up and running the TV picture was surprisingly good.

Help with casting
Seems to work OK most of the time, although I'm not sure if the ipad or the converter was at fault when I tried to cast onto the Chromecast.Handy tool.

Yes it works!
This is a clever little thing getting the HDMI signal from so many current machines/boxes back to something our loved Scart machines so can still use.

I was going to send it back but I didn't get round to it. I might have given it to a charity shop or if I have still got it I will send it back.

Connect TV with scart to a Blu-ray player
Needed this so I could fit my old Toshiba TV with scart socket to a Blu-ray player with hdmi lead, in my son's bedroom. Works just fine.

Perfect. Bringing my old Tv into the 21st century!
Why we are all expected to fork out £200+ for a new TV just for an HDMI port I don't know. This little gadget is awesome and dos the trick for my FireStick!

Incomplete
Product info at bottom of page states includes usb power adapter in which all I got was the box itself, also says in manual package should include cable. Can’t test it as don’t have power adapter with low enough voltage
