Keeps the Engine Running Smoothly and Quietly
I used this oil during my last change and the car has been running really well since. The engine feels smoother and quieter, and it starts up easily even on colder mornings. Pouring it was straightforward as the container is well designed with a good grip and spout. I’ve noticed the car feels a bit more responsive, and it’s reassuring knowing this oil is made to protect the engine parts from wear. Four litres is a good amount too, plenty for a full change with some left over for topping up. Overall, it’s a reliable engine oil that gives peace of mind and helps the car perform at its best.

Looking after my Wet Belt
Excellent oil for my Peugeot 208 Allure Premium 1.2 puretech. The Wet Timing Belt in this car absolutely MUST have the correct grade of fully synthetic oil, as the timing belt actually runs in the engine oil. CASTROL Magnatec saved me a lot of sleepless nights with this engine. They are not liked by auto engineers and are doomed to fail. I didn't have many problems with mine other than very heavy oil consumption but then again 0 w 30 is very light oil for a car engine. I had the Belt replaced at 59,000 miles and then traded in at 63,ooo against a Peugeot 108 with a proper engine.Thank you Castrol for seeing me through 60,000 miles and I will continue to use Castrol oil in my new car. (5 w 30) grade.
