Works great
Easy to set up and seems to receive signals very well. Has a switch on it for long distance receiving... I haven't used it, stay on local, but it's there and important to know for those in rural areas where it may be a benefit.

Don't buy this phone
How could the manufacturer do this to the disabled and elderly. The buttons stick. The keys don't respond to input in order to program saved numbers. At high, the ringer volume is low. The advertising verbiage is a hype. It is unconscionable. Where's the honesty and integrity? Where is the accountability? The buttons don't make complete contact when pressed. I can only imagine the frustration the elderly and disabled must feel. They advertise this is great for those with dementia. How cruel.

Great phone and great customer service!!
My mother-in-law has dementia and can no longer operate a regular telephone. She can however use this big button phone! She has difficulty hearing and wears hearing aides and the volume is loud enough for her. The simplicity of just picking up the handset and pushing one button to call someone is amazing. The phone did stop working after 6 months, however the seller sent me a new one promptly. Great product and excellent customer service. Would definitely buy from them again!!

Simple to use
Bought for my Dad who has Parkinson’s.Easy to use and we adapted it by changing the key pads to our family names so he could just read the name and push one button to contact usThe plastic over the key pads is very fragile so we ended up just using thicker clear tapeThis is working wellVolume is adjustable so he can hear us too even without using his heating aidesBest phone we could find for his needs

Great for seniors struggling with tech; questionable quality
Really wanted something like this phone for my mother who has vascular dementia. I programmed each of the 9 buttons with family members and added a photo and name of each person on the respective buttons. Note that the one button in the product photo which is intended for emergencies can also be changed to whatever you want (for my mother who is in Memory Care, an emergency phone number is not helpful.)Couple of complaints:1. The storage process is not complex, but also not incredibly intuitive. No biggie, keep the instructions.2. I wish they shipped the product with a couple of extra plastic covers for the buttons. They can pop off; we lost one within the first week. I suppose I could find some other piece of rigid plastic and cut it precisely to the shape including the tabs to pop into slots on the button, but I don't see that happening. So I just taped the picture back into place, and occasionally will have to reprint and retape it as it will become dirty/worn.3. The phone cord, like many of its kind, tangles easily.4. Because the phone cord tangles, my mother often knocks the phone base off her nightstand while using it - wouldn't be that big a deal, but somehow that resulted in the stored numbers getting scrambled to different buttons! E.g. the button that has my sister's face on it became associated with my daughter's phone number! Not even sure how that happened, but I can assure you there is NO WAY my mother was able to reprogram the numbers.

Great for older people with memory problems
We have tried multiple phones for my 95 year old mother, this is the first that works for her. She sees our photo and just presses that button. She is actually using this phone!! The ring is the only issue we are having. It's very high and shrill. She hears lower tones better so she misses some calls. But we mostly wanted a phone for her to contact us and this one does just that!

New Distance Measurements
The write up says 500 miles. I live in Charlotte NC. There are stations here for ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, etc. and all 4 noted are “weak” signals no matter where I put the antenna within the length of the attached cable. Raleigh, NC, Columbia, SC, Knoxville, TN, and even Atlanta, GA are all within 250 mile radius of Charlotte, but I can’t even get a consistently strong signal for the noted 4 to watch one 30 minute show.

Perfect for a Sight Impaired Person
My dad lost his eyesight a two years ago (he is 83). He can answer the regular phone but is unable to make calls. Recently, my mom fell and broke her hip. Dad was unable to call us. I bought this phone for him so now he can feel for the large buttons. He knows the first button is for my sister (who lives 5 miles away), then each family member in order of distance. And he can also call us just to talk.
