These are really top quality brass pumps.
I bought his pump to replace my eighteen year old version of the same monsoon pump. These are really top quality pumps, the old one was still working fine after eighteen years, it was just a little noisy because we live in a hard water area. The new one sounds different and is a good deal quieter.

Quiet, effective and easy to install
We were installing a new bathroom with a shower head higher than the water storage tank. The existing standard pump would not start when the tap was opened and was replaced by a Stuart Turner Monsoon Universal pump. Installation took less than half an hour. The new pump starts immediately and is much quieter than the unit it replaced.

This is one of the best pumps for showers
Item was as described delivered on time and works very well. 5 stars all the way , not cheap but worth it so your not fixing every year with brass fittings it’s a bonus

Quiet in operation - so far so good
I bought this pump as a replacement for an old Salamander pump. I wanted a pump that didn't leak so I thought this would fit the bill. There are some unfavourable comments on various forums about Stuart Turner's guarantee being pretty worthless so I purchased from Amazon so if I have issues I can send back. Only going to give 4 stars... pump comes with no 13 amp plug which is petty and miserly.

Unreasonable restriction and lousy cusomer service
Needed a new shower pump and got a local plumber to fit one. He came and fitted this brand new pump out of the box. The impeller on the cold side was stuck and the plumber phoned customer service who said to try a magnet or to stick a screwdriver in the inlet. Magnet didn't work but the screwdriver did. Hlepline said if that didn't work they would send an engineer or replace the pump if necessary. Then tried to register for the guarantee. Told they will not register it as this particular pump was manufactured 3 years ago and they want a receipt from a shop. Explained I didn't buy it as it was supplied by the plumber and sent them a copy of his receipt for the work. Got this reply:"As my colleague explained in her earlier email to you, we will need to see a copy of your proof of purchase as your pump was manufactured in the early part of 2010. This would need to be the purchase receipt from the shop the pump was purchased from and not the receipt regarding the installation. I am afraid without this we will not be able process the guarantee."I think this is unreasonable as the pump was obviously new when fitted and supposedly had not been previously registered. (these pumps are expensive so why would you not register it ?) How is the customer to know when a pump is supplied & installed when it was manufactured?

Great piece of kit
Just had a loft conversion done and needed a pump to push hot/cold water to sink in loft and power shower in our bathroom. This did the job brilliant and so quiet as well.

Great replacement for earlier model
Firstly I couldn't believe how quickly it was delivered. It replaced an existing Stuart Turner pump. The pipe work was a little different with push fit joints but it all went in fine and works really quietly. The new model also has isolating valves built in but I couldn't turn them with a flat edge screwdriver until I put on some WD40! They should advise about that.Otherwise great.

Exactly as specified quick delivery and brilliant price
This was supplied complete with proper fixings. Spoke with Stuart Turner customer service, explained what we needed, they recommended the product and gave us the part number to order. The price was better than ebay which pretened to be cheaper but charged extra for the fixings. At least if you buy through Amazon you cant be ripped off? Can you? Local suppliers were quoting nearly 100 pounds more. Stuart Turner are the Rolls Royce of power shower pumps.
