I was on the fence of ordering this because you never know what kind of quality you're going to get. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. The connectors look like authentic Anderson Power Poles, not knockoffs, like a ton of these types of products use. The Y splitter is a nice rubber that looks like it's waterproof. I wouldn't submerge it in water, but to me it looks like it would do a great job keeping water out. Lastly, there are rubber boots on the ends that hold everything in place and tries to keep water out as well. Even the cabling is appropriately marked as 10 AWG on the main branch and 12 AWG on the 3 connectors. The cables are fairly rigid and are difficult to move around, but they are quality wires and not silicone insulation that's easy to damage. The product costs a little bit more, but for what you get it's well worth it.

Worked for connecting a 2nd 52v battery on my conversion ebike. If you're planning on running 2 batteries, it is recommended to use a balancer. A lithium battery fire can ruin the whole day. That being said, my voltage balancer didn't arrive on time for a big trip, and I went ahead without it. I just turn on 1 battery at a time. Stop & flip switches when the 1st battery is low voltage. No voltage mismatch. Nothing overheats. Unless you're shredding a dirt track or climbing rather extreme hills, I don't think the average person would need the power boost of 2 batteries working simultaneously in tandem, or even notice it.
