A lovely simple book.
This is such a lovely book. Purchased for our son after our dog passed away. It’s very simply written, with only one sentence on each page, but the bright colours and basic wording helped him to understand his emotions and to discuss his feelings. Out of several books purchased, this one is the one he gravitates towards and the one which seems to have helped him the most.

Really good book done in an age appropriate way
Lovely book written in a very age appropriate way. Read to my 2 year old, all bright images and simple story kept her attention well. Definitely recommended to help discuss a hard topic

Extremely grateful for this book
This book enabled us to explain death with our five year old who has special needs. We tried many books as did school but they were so abstract. This is amazing. So simple but you could easily elaborate on each picture if needed. We would be lost without this story.

Not much to it
Bought this for my 4.5 yr old daughter when her cat got run over. She didn’t like it. I didn’t much either, very basic...would have liked more words and an explanation of the emotions
