great stem
The Thomson reputation is well known and in this case it continues. The stem is perfect for my mountain bike. Not sure what to say, it is well-made, nicely finished and strong. It should last longer than my new bike.

Great Road Bike Stem
I was not initially sure how this stem would look like on my Trek Madone road bike since this is intended more for mountain bikes. But it turned out to match up really nicely on my road bike. Very solid build and excellent quality.

Bought the X4 stem for my road bike based on previous reviews of both Thomson stem offerings. I believe this was best decision, regardless of the weight differential. Strength being the most critical factor overrides a few grams

Great Product Quality and Build..
After receiving it and examining it, I couldn't help but noticed the build quality. You can really tell this made by people who care about their product. I just wish they made one with 6 degrees..

Stiff and light everything it's described to be.
I like this stem a lot! I tried a Truvativ AKA of the same dims and it was a flexy mess. This one is way better designed and handling is improved going from a 90mm to this 80mm instead of lessened like with the AKA.

Very nice
The Thomson stem is very nicely made, finish great, and works well. No issues at all and it mounted right up with no problem. This is my first Thomson product and I'd buy another.
