Angel fish loves them!
My angel fish is a pig. I feed her a few of these first so she doesn’t attack the other fish when I drop the flake in. They don’t float long and sink really fast. I’m not sure if the loach eats the sunken ones. I’ve started only feeding what the angel can grab before they sink, so about 4. They are super tiny. Much smaller than I was expecting. Overall, good purchase. Happy Angel = happy tank!

Fish Like It
My horde of Emerald Corydoras catfish devour these micro wafers as fast as possible. Hikari makes me feel like I am feeding the fish a quality product.

Clean, easy and very effective!
I love these! They are small enough for my tetras and platy fry (I mix with the same brands macro pelletes- which are smaller and perfect for really small fry).-They are small enough to go between rocks so my cory cats can eat too. But yet, they aren't so small that they get lost to deeply between the rocks and just rot.-These are SO MUCH less messy to use than Flakes. I hate opening a flake lid and ending up with Flakes EVERY WHERE.-My fish LOVE them and their colors and stools are vibrant and healthy. My gourami, Kyle, is his most stunning since I have added these to his diet. His behavior is more interesting now too.. he hunts and really stays active searching the whole tank for missed morsels.. He actually ignores the other foods when I feed, and chases these waffers down. But they are small enough that many pieces still sink to the rest of the tank population before he gets them all, so everyone can eat fairly.

MY DISCUS LOVE THESE
I'm surprised that such big fish seek out these tiny wafers but they love them! I feed a large assortment of dry foods and there's no question they really like this one. I make up a couple of combined food mixes so they get a variety. They eat everything but this is a favorite.

Sinks like a rock - but fish do like ... if they can catch it quickly
Although my tropical, community fish seem to like these, it's about a 30% chance of them catching the food before it sinks to the bottom ... quickly and immediately. I strongly prefer the "Micro Pellets" food by Hikari (same company), as it floats for just a moment before slowly sinking; however, it, too, sinks a little too quickly for my liking (I do still buy it, though). Tropical fish prefer a variety in their food, so I'm still hunting for the perfect something to supplement their "can't go wrong" flake diet. I suppose my bottom-feeders are loving this food, but I'm not and won't order it again.
