I was hesitant to buy these after reading reviews about longevity and flickering. I have 9 ceiling lights in my kitchen where I had some old Philips LEDs that lasted nearly forever. But when one burned out, I could only find an exact replacement for like $38 online. I tried some newer Philips bulbs from Amazon that looked identical and cost $5 each. They flickered like crazy, so I sent them back. I then decided to check the dimmer (3 way) to find it was not an LED dimmer (but was a good one -Lutron). I replaced it with an LED dimmer from Lutron. Then I decided to try these Sunco bulbs. They arrived. I put them in all 9 fixtures and they worked like a charm. They actually seemed brighter than the old Philips bulbs, so I dimmed them a bit for everyday use. Not a single one had any trouble working out of the box. Time will tell on longevity, but I was thinking of buying another 10 to keep on hand as backups. The price is very reasonable. And I get good vibes that Sunco stands behind their products.

I’m very happy with these bulbs. Some LEDs are too yellow, and some are to white. These are just right. They are a great value for the price. I did a major renovation in my home and had recessed lighting done in the kitchen, living room, loft, guest room and master bathroom. I told the contractor I wanted LED bulbs in all lighting. I was under the impression he did what I contracted for, but after just 2 years a bulb burned out in the kitchen. When I took out the bulb, I found out it was a Halogen bulb. Halogens are terrible. They burn very hot and cost a lot to run. I had to replace all the bulbs in my recessed lighting. I went to the hardware store where one bulb cost $14 dollars. I then went to Shop-Rite where one bulb cost 9.99. I decided to look up LEDs in this type bulb on Amazon and came across this 10-pack. They are just what I wanted. Highly recommend them.

These replacement bulbs screw into a traditional bulb socket and cast a nice focused 4000k bright look onto our kitchen island. On my first purchase new, I used 6 of the 10-pack (2 bulbs x 3 light fixtures); and they saw near-daily use for 8-12 hours per day. After 3 years they started to dwindle in intensity, and 2/6 flickered and stopped altogether by 4 years. For your reference I show a picture with one fixture with new bulbs and the other with the 4 year old bulbs. Replace the bulbs promptly, as they dwindle to a slow death before they stop working. The fresh bulbs (left) are much brighter than the 4 year old bulbs (right). I waited way too long to replace them, as the difference is striking, and am enjoying the original "like-new" light fixtures so much better. These bulbs have a supposed lifetime of 7 years - you should be realistic about their useable lifespan and be prepared to replace them sooner rather than later. The product is produced in a stable process that allows mix and match with bulbs sold years ago. I just ordered another box of 10 to replace the remaining 2 bulbs in the third light fixture. Sometimes LED bulbs are not compatible with other bulbs in the same circuit, especially when there is a dimmer involved, but I am happy to say that the old and new bulbs mix just fine, even when the dimmer is turned down way low. Good job to Sunco for keeping the characteristics of the bulb the same over years of production.

So glad I found these. Been trying to replace my old incandescent PAR20s with modern LEDs but they all seemed not quite like the original ones, Color wise & performance wise, they also did Not espond well to dimmers, not like the originals. Took a chance on these & they're Great. work incredibly smoothly with regular Lutron dimmer (all lights should be on dimmers, no reason not to) & side by side with the old one (I still have a few in place) you cannot tell them apart. For me Soft White is perfect, ordering 2 more boxes which should last a very very long time.

I've bought a lot of these bulbs over the last few years as I transitioned my home and studio from Incandescent and Halogen bulbs to LED. Overall, the Sunco bulbs have performed excellently, but I've had a couple go bad. Reaching out to the company via its website, I was quickly comped replacement bulbs plus a couple of spares. These bulbs bring a nice warm, bright light to our kitchen. Does not throw a terrible garish blue tinge like some other LEDs that claim to be "warm." Bulbs have been reliable so far as well, but we've only had them in for a couple weeks so time will tell more on that aspect.

I'm using these for pot lights. Handling the first bulb I found the bulbs surprisingly light and easy to handle. Other LEDs I've use have used were heavier using a thicker plastic body and lens. The lighter weight doesn't appear to effect quality's once in place they're not typically banged about. 'This bulb is advertised as usable in wet locations -so be sure the fixture into which you plug it is equally as safe! The colour temperature is 2700 so the light colour isn't the harsh bluish tone ( they make other temperatures so be aware when ordering). LED lights (except for pricey Smart LEDs) to not go towards a warm golden colour when dimmed as halogen and incandescent bulbs do so are not as versatile for mood lighting. These ones do a good job in most situations.
