Morelos rice!
This Morelos rice is a unique type of medium grain rice, regulated by the Mexican government. It is NOT a long grain rice and is not supposed to be. My wife and I prefer Morelos rice for its exceptional taste and texture. Verde Valle is careful to label these packages as Morelos rice (they also sell long grain varieties which are NOT labeled Morelos, and presumably are not.) Amazon could help avoid the confusion here.

Great & versatile rice!
I've heard a lot of folks on Mexico have Verde Valle & having a lot of rice I know my brands. It was a good brand, taste & texture. I'm happy to have tried this one & would definitely recommend it for a variety of any rice dishes.

Other rices are just as good and cheaper
No better than any other rice made Spanish rice thought I would try this authentic Spanish rice. It really didn't make any difference. It was good that didn't make any difference with other rice

Good quality!
Got this because it was on sale! Glad I did because it tasted much better than other rices I have tried. Easy to make in a rice maker or stove. Great texture and just the right amount of stickiness.
