Works well but lacks the original feel.
This pen functions as advertised and is a no-frills kind of device. Its extremely light weight gives it a cheap feel - something more weighted would definitely make writing on my paper tablet more enjoyable and comfortable.

Excellent Replacement for Scribe Pen
I lost my premium pen for my scribe. This pen was about 1/3 less, and work just a well. I found 2 differences. The major difference is that it's much lighter than the scribe pen. That could be a pro or a con, but it may feel "cheaper" in your hand. The magnet on this one is not as strong as the scribe pen.Overall I would highly recommend for the scribe. It works out of the box, and the tip and eraser function as well as the scribe premium pen.

Has dead zones / Replacement has issues with eraser. DO NOT BUY
I purchased this as a backup stylus for my reMarkable 2, on sale for about $31.00.It is 0.1 mm thinner, much lighter and lacks the grippy texture of the stock pen than the stock pen so it will fit fine in most of the cases with integrated holders. The magnet is in the right place and polarity, but is a bit weak. It is strong enough to keep it attached to the RM while on a desk, but I would not trust it to stay attached if I were walking around with it.The eraser and nib both work out of the box, but the button does nothing. There may be a hack to get it to work, but I did not investigate that. The reason for the 2 stars is because there is a specific angle on a specific edge that does not respond. You can see in the video that I was drawing circles and it would just stop drawing for part of the stroke. It was very repeatable and was not speed dependent. Changing the angle or rotation of the pen would both allow it to work normally. I replaced the nib with a known good one and it did improve somewhat, but did not alleviate the problem completely. Perhaps I just got a defective pen, so I am returning this one and getting a replacement. I'll update this review when I receive the new one and can test it out.--------------------------------------------------------------------Update: 10/17/2023--------------------------------------------------------------------Got the replacement and it does not have the dead zone like the first one. That is where the good news ends. The replacement acts like a pen when using the eraser, at least before pushing down on it. The eraser needs to pressed down to activate the function, and it works perfectly fine when doing so. The problem is that when the eraser is hovering over or lightly touching the tablet, it is acting as a stylus and is DRAWING instead of erasing. This means that you make more marks as you start and finish erasing. Two out of two stylus' from this brand have had failures and that tells me they have serious quality control issues and you should skip this one and buy one of the other hundred brands making compatible pens. That is what I'm doing...UPDATE 10/31/2023The seller contacted me wanting to send me another one, understanding that my review would not go above 3 stars, assuming it worked perfectly because 2 of 3 units being bad should never get above 3 stars. They asked for my address and phone number so I presume they were going to send me one directly and that they would cherry pick a good one. Amazon recommends not giving any personal information and I agree so I declined the offer. I do have a KuRoKo case for my RM2 that is great, but I do not recommend anyone buying the EMR pen unless you want to make multiple attempts to get one that works properly.I give their customer service good points, but the relatively small cost savings over a quality EMR stylus is just not worth the hassle.

Pen Replaced After Return Period
My original review was 1 star because it arrived broken. The box wasn't damaged, but the push button was broken off and totally missing and the pen wouldn't hold the nib. I didn't try it during the return period, but they ended up replacing it anyway, so I give them an extra star for that.It have a nice feel to it, and the writing seems to have a good feel to it. I very much like having the eraser end (like the original) that I got with my ReMarkable 2, although it is a little inconsistent. The push button actually does work (I have it programmed to erase, although I don't really need that -- I understand that the ReMarkable can be programmed to do other things with the push buttons, but I haven't tried it yet.All in all, not a bad replacement pen for my ReMarkable 2.
