Great EARLY book writer can’t put book down.
I love this book. All Martina Coles early books we’re gritty hard hitting and a great read. Unfortunately later books have become almost repatative, the Kate Burrows series being an example. Without spoiler alert, the first two were excellent, then the last one was almost a direct repeat of 2nd in series. I recommend this book to everyone as I do all her early novels. Sadly these days with the exception of the Harry Potter and Twilight series, once the author has earned millions the writing becomes repatative. However this is a great book.
