Looks okay
I have to replace it as it came chipped. Appears to be elegantly designed.

This is a really nice bathroom sink pop-up drain.s is a really nice bathroom sink pop-up drain.
This is a really nice bathroom sink pop-up drain. A bathroom sink drain pipe is tubular size 1 ¼” while a kitchen sink drain pipe is tubular size 1 1/2”. I used to be a Remodeling Contractor. I have installed a hundred, or more, faucets. This pop-up drain assembly is made of metal and is higher quality. Before installing I took the pop up drain assembly apart and applied small dabs of Plumber’s Silicone Grease (NOT silicone caulk) on the threads for easy future maintenance. You DO NOT use pipe thread compound on these types of threads. It has a robust deck clamping mechanism. I used the supplied bottom underside silicone gasket but I do not ever use the supplied topside silicone gasket because every sink basin drain hole angle is a bit different. DO NOT USE PLUMBERS’ PUTTY TO SET THIS DRAIN. Plumbers’ Putty stains some vanity tops. Even though there are some “sealing washers” included, I always set the faucet and drain assembly in clear silicone caulk. I have made a lot of money replacing counter tops, and cabinets, because the faucet deck seal, or the drain assembly, leaked a tiny amount and ruined the countertop and or cabinet. Or someone used standard Plumber’s Putty that stained the sink and ruined it.

A quality drain, but check your sink first
My total install time with this was less than 30 minutes. Installation was pretty straightforward, but because you have to disassemble this to install it, take a picture or otherwise record the order and orientation of the gaskets. Additionally, make sure you look at the current drain site for your sink. Mine was more narrow (more of a funnel shape) and this did not (visually) fit very well. The ceramic top is larger and thicker than most and so you may run into issues where it cannot seat properly when closed. Alternately, it might look out of place in a smaller, more funnel-like sink. After installation, I checked for leaks. It didn’t seat very well and as such, the seal was also not seated properly. I had to move it around bit to get everything to seat. Then, it had a very slow leak between the threads and the fastening nut. It was so minor and only happened when the sink was filled with water (which we rarely do), so I didn’t address it. If I get around to it, some plumber’s tape around the threads should do the trick. The only downside with drains like this is that to acuate the drain plug to empty the sink, you’ll have to place your hands in the dirty water (or find something long like the handle of a hairbrush). Since it’s a bathroom sink, I don’t find this an issue. Still, this is something that should be considered when buying a drain with this type of mechanism.

easy to install and works great
It was very easy to install this on my new vessel sink. The pop up drain pops up very nicely and it looks super cute in my sink. Installation took around 15 minutes and its been working perfectly.

Expensive replacement
It's nice replacement drain is kind of unique. Instead of the little metal plunger that pushes the stopper up and down this one has a stopper attached you just push down and it's closed. Push down again and it's open. You're never going to lose that stopper again it comes with several accompanying seals to keep things from leaking. As you can see I haven't got it in yet because it wouldn't be very easy to take a picture of it if it was. So now I got to go put it in.

Does not fit all bathroom sinks
I got this for my cultured marble vanity sink. When i removed the previous drain, the hole seemed to measure at 1.5 inches. However this drain assembly was just a hair too big. I probably should have bought a smaller drain but those are hard to find without the old style pull handle on the faucets with levers underneath. So determined to review this i forged on. Using a dremel with a grinding stone bit. I was able to slightly enlarge the drain hole to where this would fit. However the supplied foam and rubber gaskets would not seat properly into the smaller radius indentation in the sink so I used plumbers putty instead. Also the rubber gasket that goes on the undersink part was too thick to get the nut tightened down enough for the tail pipe nut to have enough threads to seat properly. So I had to cut that down some. Other than that install was pretty straightforward although this contained no directions. I believe on other style sinks you would not run into these issues. After all that I was surprised to find no leaks on the very first test run. This drain type is somewhat ostentatious, but it’s growing on me. The draining action is fantastic but somewhat loud which made me keep checking under the sink to make sure everything was okay.
