I do keep water covered when not in use, it was perfect inside my shower tent, or even to wash hands &/or lil ones. I often use my solar water bags for that.

We use it for our dog because we don't have a way to hook up an extension to wash him in our new apartment. I have not charged the shower since we bought it 3 months ago and its still PUMPING out water. The battery life is exquisite. And the stream is gentle, but effective. Easy to use, easy to break down. Just buy it if you need it. We even pack it in the car when we travel with the dog so we don't have to put him in horribly dirty. Maybe this shower has changed our lives.
