Fantastic (mostly)
I bought the Heatmiser system about five years ago after a careful review of all the competing ones (including Nest, the Google backed market leader). It does a few things really well:- the app is great and easy to use- you can turn things off remotely- it will control heating, hot water and underfloor heating (each a separate unit) which no one else does- it doesn’t “learn” but I find learning thermometer a gimmick as you have to remember to turn them up/down all the time for a week or more - you might as well spend five minutes programming the (very easy to use) app and getting it perfect. I know very well at what time we leave to catch the train or the kids go to bed and need a bath; I don’t need a “smart” thermometer to learn it from me, badly.The only catch is that one of the unit broke about 4 years in. Bad luck or bad product I do not know. The rest seems fine. Out of warranty and needing a new one immediately (no hot water is no fun), I had to buy a brand new one from amazon rather than go to technical help.
