Fairly easy to set up out of the box. Easy to use and clean carpets. It has a separate hose for cleaning upholstery or spot-cleaning. The hose cannot be used on Steam Cleaning modes just on normal cleaning, which was fine for my purposes. Cleans well. A heavy machine to push around but very effective.

Easy to use , easy to clean and does a really good job cleaning the carpets.I won't be using the attachment because the brushs still rotate , don't like sat in one spot if I'm cleaning a chair, I do already have the spot clean for that so no biggie

After doing my homework, and watching many online reviews, I saw this on sale, so took the plunge. This is a fantastic and well built cleaner. It is a bit heavy, but is easy to manoeuvre. The steam function works really well when cleaning the carpets. The 3-way stair tool is fantastic. I just wish that the stairs/spot cleaning hose also had the steam cleaner functionality. Maybe on the next model! A clear bonus is the 6 year warranty. I'm really happy with the cleaner.

I live in a 4 bedroom house and carpeted throughout with cream carpets 20 years ago. The carpets were very good quality when new. We do not wear shoes in the house, do not smoke and have no pets, however, after 20 years of just vacuuming, the carpets looked more grey than cream before cleaning. So, after removing all furniture from the room, I used my vacuum machine to vacuum the carpet then used the Bissell with their recommended cleaning solution to clean. I did this one room at a time. Each room took 24 hours to dry enough to replace the furniture. The result, however, was amazing. The carpets are now cream again plus the pile has been lifted so they feel like new. All spills including old tea stains were removed. This machine is pricey but does the job. Only downsides are the attachment for the stairs does not have steam so the result was slightly less impressive and the machine is fairly heavy when empty and very heavy when filled with the tank of water/solution otherwise an excellent product.

I bought this "BISSELL Revolution HydroSteam" to replace a RugDoctor Mighty Pro X3, which was very cumbersome to use and not very effectiveBut this Bissel machine is not much better. I dont know if the one I got is faulty, or whether they are all just useless. It does generate steam, and also spits out detergent and sucks it up. But on top of the normal vacuum noise, there is a constant loud squealing, as if some of the rubber parts are rubbing together. All the videos on YouTube I see don't have this sound.If its not faulty, then it's really ineffective and was a complete waste of money.

I should come with 3 bottle of washing carpet liquid, but i received only 2.

There are so many products available. After reviewing many products, after many hours I chose this one. The machine is fine, very loud (they all are). Water suction is poor (they all are), but at least it did the job. Just wish these companies improved the technology, they have gotten more expensive over the years and no better at all. I've seen this product as an investment, rather than a one-off solution. Use it 4 times and you'll have made your money back compared to renting one. Would I buy this again? I'm unsure, to be honest. This was the best I could find, given the time spent searching (money too) it would be hard to find a better product. Good luck.
