Console Booster Carrier

Best console car seat that I have owned. I have learn what I wanted in a carrier through hours and hours of research and trial and error. After buying and using this carrier for 3 months I’m 110% satisfied and the search has ended. The console in our car is fairly small, we have an Infinity 2017-QX70. This carrier fits PERFECTLY and very securely on the center console. We use the to short straps to secure it to the console top. The carrier buckled down very securely with no play. I have checked the straps several times to make sure they are not loosened or ripped and everything looks perfect. This carrier has the lead attached to the car seat in the correct position, at the rear of the carrier. This way if there is an impact it will keep your pet safe in the carrier. (Beware there are carriers that have the lead attached in the front of the carrier and your pet will fly out of the carrier and possibly into the windshield). I am not sure why some reviews say that their small dog would not fit we have no issues. My dog is a 10lbs Teddybear, he rides comfortably and will even curl up and fall asleep in the carrier. He even has room for his favorite squeaky. We love that he is up front with us and safely secured in. The sides are extra sturdy and taller which adds to the safety and assurance that he is secure. The assembly was super easy, just zip it up. The zippers are heavy duty and I feel they will hold up. However, once we assembled the carrier we have not disassembled because it has been in the car ever since. The carry straps are like a nylon lead and they are attached securely. When we first received the carrier I would put our pup into the carrier and carry him around the house in it to help get him use to the carrier. When he fell asleep in it I knew he felt comfortable in it and he was ready to use it in the car. I have not had the opportunity to use it for air travel yet but I am sure it will work just fine. When I do I will update this review. So everything considered stop wasting your money buying unsafe care seats for your fur babies. Get this one and keep them safe and comfortable! This is an excellent value for this quality. It compares to the ones you would spend hundreds on dollars for.

After trying several center console dog seats. I can confidently say this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. This product is genuinely rock solid, sturdy, and built to last — a huge upgrade from the flimsy alternatives we've wasted money on before. The overall construction feels premium. The materials are thick and durable, with no cheap fabric that starts pilling or tearing after a put on and take offs. The stitching is tight, even, and clearly done with high-quality thread that holds everything together without any loose threads or weak spots, even after our energetic little dog has been hopping in and out for weeks.

Update: 4 days into using this and the seams are coming undone where the sides zippers attach to the plastic piping on both sides. There’s no tension on the sides and I don’t move the carrier. See the attached picture. Definitely a quality issue. I’m going to request a replacement and I’ll update my review when the new one comes in. For now I’ll change it to three stars for this reason and the resin states below. Four stars because the bottom straps are not made for center consoles like my Honda odyssey, but I made it work. My 5lb toy poodle loves this carrier and it keeps her much safer than being on my lap, but letting her be right next to me. See photos and video

I bought two boosters before this one. One was too big, the other one didn’t have console straps and that’s what we were wanting. This one is PERFECT. Our shi itsu dog is 113lbs and fits perfect. We did however not feel like he would be that secure if we were to be in an accident even using the harness strap so we bought an adjustable strap with a latch and hooked it to the back seat doggy seat belt that we had in our backseat just for added peace of mind. This is the best purchase cuz he loves being able to see out the windshield. Great purchase.

This console carrier was a little bit too small for our pup (~12 lbs), and a little small for our console top (Toyota Tundra), so he couldn’t ride in it with the seat facing forward. That said, because of how it’s constructed, we were able to position it sideways using the longer front to back straps across the console to secure it. We were also able to unzip the side panel toward the backseat, so he was able to lay down comfortably while still being secured. For the price, this got the job done and I was happy he was buckled in and not sitting in my lap for an 9 hour car trip.

This is such a high quality carrier! I have had so much trouble finding a car carrier for my middle console that would A: fit my 12 inch console and B: be sturdy and safe for my 2 lb toy poodle. It turned out to exceed my expectations. The bottom straps are very tight and no adjustments are needed. Can be used in either cars at my household. I can tell my pup feels safe in it because he doesn't mind being in it at all. Plus, he gets to be close to me while I drive. It's a win-win!

This product was as described and I liked the quality of it. It’s great that it comes with a stone in tether to clip to his harness. My dog is 14 pounds and I knew he was a little over the recommended size limit but I gave it a try. He is much happier riding next to me on the console than in his old Car seat in the second row Of the vehicle. As you can see by the photo Even though he’s a little too big for it it would be fine For short trips if he was going to just sit up and look out the window. Even at 14 pounds the length of it would be OK for him to lay down but the front lip is very high and thin so There’s nothing for him to rest his chin on. I’m probably going to return this and get a console car seat with a thicker front lip for him to lay his head on. If your dog is going to sit up or snuggle down with his head tucked in you might be OK with this one tho. So it might not have worked for our needs but it still seems like a good product If you’re looking for a carrier/console seat.

This booster seat is definitely intended for very small dogs or small cats. When my dog would try to get comfortable all she could do was sit in it. Ordinarily she’s asleep within 10 minutes of the car ride, but she had to sit in it, so she couldn’t sleep. It’s just so small. I don’t know if the measurements are with the zipper open or closed but when the top zipper is open there’s about 6” cut off the length at the top. They must be measuring its length from the bottom of the booster seat. I don’t recommend this seat at all, unless you’ve got a chihuahua, small terrier or a small to medium size cat.
