Bought this saw for use around the yard and it works great!. It is a quality product. Charged up well and batteries are long lasting and provides plenty of power for cutting. When you are through trimming everything fits easily back into the carrying case. Although it comes with two extra chains, I'm still on the original one. Highly recommended!

One thing I’ve learned in life is that the ease or difficulty of almost any task comes down to having the right tool or not. What can you do with 4” of chainsaw blade? Well, for one thing, you can chop some fingers off if you’re not real careful. I have used it to clean out brush and smaller trees. Where it has really shined in allowing me to get right down to the base of some small tree stumps that are up against the foundation of my house and that keep trying to sprout into trees every year. With this tool I was able to really do some damage to them that I haven’t been able to do with pruning shears. I wasn’t joking about losing fingers. This thing is so small and compact you might forget that there’s a chainsaw blade twirling at the end of it. I was using it in my right hand and using my left hand to reach out and grab small trees, pulling them down to use the saw on. You want to make sure the saw doesn’t grab the tree and yank your hand up under it. The saw itself is very convenient and powerful enough to really get through things. For most homeowners not living in the country, it’s the only chainsaw they’re ever going to need. I’m very happy with it.

I have a name brand battery operated pole saw that cost more than this mini chainsaw and it is not as good as this. I could not believe how easy this cut branches and pretty nice size ones. I was going to do a video but the one that is shown by another reviewer shows exactly how nice and fast this thing cuts. This is so good that I let a neighbor borrow my other one. I had to clear a path that was overgrown and was awestruck in how well this thing worked. Not only that but it came with two batteries. I never had to use the second battery as the first one lasted a long time. As to the chain, it stayed tight until the end and when I took off the cover to tighten it, it was already tight so maybe I had a twig or something holding it open. My pole saw seemed to loosen up many times but this one stayed true. Again, this thing is amazing and if are thinking about pulling the plug, just do it; and if if is not everything that you want in a mini saw, send it back. I don't believe you will though.

My wife's for trimming and gardening. It is manageable and durable for her and VERY useful to every task she wants to do. She has used it for hours without a hiccup. She has tackled some big jobs without hesitation and the maintenance is easy. She has taken down some 6"-7" limbs quickly. Impressive

In the past few weeks, I have had opportunity to test 3 different mini chainsaws. 2 have gotten 1 star reviews from me, despite glowing reviews from many of my compatriots. Why? Simple. 2 of the saws I've reviewed recently have had chain oilers that flat out didn't work AT ALL because of non-alignment between the oiling port on the saw body and the oiling port in the saw bar. This mini chainsaw stands head and shoulders above the crowd just on these lines alone. Why did I give it 4 stars then, instead of 5? Well, the fact it included only 1 small 2.0Ah battery (and a not very speedy charger) and has a blade tension adjuster that's a pain to adjust. Point blank, if I could put the blade tension adjustor from the last saw I reviewed on THIS saw? It'd be darn near perfect. Operation wise, it performed flawlessly. I had a good size (3.5" diameter, I measured it) piece of wood in my burn pile and it cut through it like a beaver on his 3rd cup of cappuccino. The brushless motor has a lot to do with that, and it shines here. This is a fantastic little saw for yard cleanup or pruning or stuff like that. You'll find it to work VERY well, especially since the blade oiler on this actually functions. I wish it came with a faster charger, and a larger battery. And a tool-less tension adjuster. But for what it DOES come with, it does the job pretty darn well. I give this saw a solid 4 stars and a "recommended buy". And know that I'm particularly hard on these little guys, and don't just hand out these reviews...they're earned. They're tools, not toys. The fact this saw got a 4 while the last 2 I reviewed got a 1, should tell you worlds about where this saw stands above the majority of its competition. It does something its competition could not - exactly what it's supposed to do.
