Me and my 4x4 Bronco have gone through dozens of phone holders, some that charge, some that try to, some that sort of hold my phone, and some that can't even do that... And I've broken every one of them within weeks... Until now.This holder/charger is strong and made of metal where it matters, in the holding clamp itself. It has a strong motor for opening and closing the clamp, padded clamps, release buttons on both sides, and a charger powerful enough to wirelessly charge through an OtterBox Defender. It also retains enough power to release your phone after you shut off your car's power.This holder comes with two great mounts as well...The window mount holds secure, and can be articulated in all directions. It also telescopes to reach from my windshield all the way back to my steering wheel and beyond.The air vent mount is next generation, using a string hook that can be attached and then tightened security to any vent, hole, slot, etc...I bought two of these last year, and I haven't broken one yet... A new record for me! I just bought two more for my other vehicle... And guess what everybody in my family is getting for Christmas this year!

Its the weirdest thing. You have to plug in the device so that it will open up its arms to be able to hold the phone. I didnt really care for that. It is pretty cool after awhile though. Nice charge if you dont have a case on your phone, if you do good luck.

Been looking for something like this it's a little pricey but you get what you pay for.

This charger works and opens when you put phone up to it sometimes but never has opened when you shut car off. The dash mount so far has worked great and has not came off.

I ordered this dashboard phone charger for my husband’s truck. The charger comes with multiple bases to give you flexibility on where to mount it. Ours is on the dashboard, and has so far adhered very well. We are using the cigarette lighter to plug it into (old truck), but it plugs into a USB outlet, too. I like how adjustable the mount is, being able to move the phone in just about any direction. The phone clasp and sensor have been working perfectly (opening to remove the phone even after the ignition is turned off). Charges my phone as expected, even with a pretty substantial phone case.The only issue I have with this unit is that the design will not hold your phone in a horizontal position. (There is no support on one short side (the top end when the phone is vertical), so the phone would slip out of the side with a sharp turn. Other than that, my picky husband describes this charger as “perfect otherwise”, and intends to buy another one for our other vehicle.

I live in an area that has a lot of potholes (you guessed it… Atlanta) and this holds onto my car and phone very well. I have no worries about it falling out. I don’t use it for the wireless charging so I can’t attest to how well it charges. But this fits well! I currently have a ford Escape 2013 titanium, and i Put it right in front of the CD slot, honestly the perfect spot.

I have a Samsung Galaxy, which is one of the phones mentioned that will work with this mount/charger. My phone fits, the arms close to hold it. It's secure. But it doesn't charge. My phone, as are almost all, is in a thin case to help protect it. If the phone won't charge while in one it is pretty useless I feel. Everyone I know has a case on their phone.Also, the mount will not attach to a vent in my car. Does not fit.I'm not trying to mount on dash or window as it doesn't charge.That's my disappointing experience.

Super cool little car device, hook straight up to my vent and fit my phone snug and now everytime im in my car my phone is charging which is great because im in my car alot and i forget to charge my phone often.
