A great addition to the series
I really enjoyed the kingdom hearts manga books and this is no different. This follows the traditional maga style reading of left to right, plus has a diagram to demonstrate this to first time readers at the "back" of the book (which is actually the front to us!). The story stays the same as the game, as well as adding some light-hearted moments which i really enjoyed. I also liked that this book is longer than the previous series which i also liked. A great present for any kingdom hearts fan and for those who'd like to know what happens next without playing the game.

Item came on time!A beautiful re-telling of KH Chain of memories! I highly recommend to any fan of the KH series!

An enjoyable read.
Somehow, this is a lot more engaging and interesting than Kingdom Hearts vol. 1 despite the fact that I prefer Kingdom Hearts' storyline. I enjoyed Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories manga for two reasons:1. It was a good read, fun and with the trademark interesting storyline.2. I do not own a GBA, and was rather annoyed to find out that Chain of Memories was scheduled for a GBA release. This game holds several key points that contribute to the Kingdom Hearts 2 story, so this manga was perfect for me to read without actually playing the game.I would recommend this to fans who are in the same situation as myself [GBA deprived!] and to general manga fans. :)

Much like the CoM story itself
It's difficult to tell how much I should hold this manga to account for.Much like the CoM story itself, the story can be a little boring, with the Disney moments being largely repeats of the original with little variation. On one hand you can tell the authors were putting effort into spicing this up, but on the other I don't see why they couldn't take advantage of this manga being non-canon and just say "screw-it" to following the original's story altogether.The premise is about revisiting memories and them being skewed, so why not go all out with it? Make it so that Alladin used the genie to make entirely different wishes! Make it so that Mulan was outed as a woman earlier on! KH is unbashedly a fanfiction to begin with, so why not embrace that?

My own fault really, but the book isn't in english but in german. Bit dissapointed, I've wasted £4 on something I can't read.Don't buy if you want it in english.

i actually enjoyed this more than the game. mostly cuz i hated the card battling system. anyway once again it was brilliant and i highly recommend!!

Excellent
Etant fan de Kingdom hearts, je me suis intéresser récemment au mangas, et ce la ne m'as vraiment pas déçu.Ce mangas est vraiment fidèle à l'histoire de Kingdom Hearts mais en y rajoutant une touche d'humour qui n'est vraiment pas désagréable.Je vous le conseil fortement car il en vaut vraiment la peine.

In erster Linie muss ich sagen ICH LIEBE KH!!!ich liebe das Spiel ich liebe die Fortsetzungen, und da ich jetzt die Mangas gefunden habe lese ich sie mit Begeisterung, sie sind echt witzig und haben auch kleien zwischensequenzen die man nicht im Spiel findet sondern vom Zeichner selbst ausgedacht sind, echt lustig. ich warte gespannt auch die nächsten Bände

KH:CoM...a funny and amusing read.
I must agree with the person that admitted that he was a bit disappointed with the first series' books. I was as well and so was my brother, both of us having played Kingdom Hearts all the way through more than once and knowing all the events. It was way too short and exciting things were cut from the manga. However, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories stays true to the game (from what I remember, anyway) and still makes it a fascinating read. It continues the story of Sora - the child given the awesome responsibility of wielding the legendary "Keyblade," an awesome weapon that can wrought both destruction and salvation. I have always like this series, and have played all three games. I can't wait for Kingdom Hearts 2 to be turned into a manga. I hope it will just keep getting better! Oh, and, as a correction, this book's cover is not on backwards by mistake. They decided to stick with the true manga style, which is written right to left, instead of left to right like we're used to in the States. I just wanted to clear that up with the woman that gave this a one-star. Sorry if I offend anyone, but this series deserves a bit more than that.
