My son bought this with his allowance money and he loved it! The took it with him trick or treating. My son is seven. Unfortunately, it stopped working. We checked the batteries, on and off switches, and made sure to charge it, but no luck. If it worked longer it would be a great product but ours didn’t last long. My son threw the box away, otherwise I would have returned or asked for an exchange.

cute little robot for kids! has music, changes color, is actually pretty small and lightweight. The only bummer is that it does not work on carpet, any type of rug.

It was a sunny Sunday when we unboxed this very cool robot. My kids' eyes lit up, mirroring the seven colorful LED eyes of the cute little bot. We named it 'Buddy'.Buddy was a dancing sensation, and my boy couldn't get enough. It rocks to the beat, twirls and spins and the way the head adjusts almost makes him real. Memories of old Twilight Zone episodes!.The robot apparently has its own language, whispering secrets only kids could understand. It sings songs for as long as the batteries last!The remote control is great, and works to about 100 feet. I'm sort of amazed at how technology has taken over toys.This will be a nice addition to your "family," and I can bet your youngster will love it. Just don't go watching too many old Twilight Zone episodes. The similarities are a bit disturbing :)

It's 2.4ghz, and you can see when you turn it on, it seeks and pairs to the robot (blinking when remote is looking/pairing, then red when all hooked up).It's honestly more fun than I expected, but not sure how it compares to other RC vehicles a child may want to drive around. If you think this is what your specific child is looking for, than this is a solid choice!
