The original band in glorious HD.
I was able to catch the concert live during their American leg of the tour. I enjoyed watching the performance again but it seemed like the audio mix was a little off. It just didn't sound as good as I remembered when seeing them perform live. Again, not totally bashing the Blu-ray..... but, the sound mix could've been better.

Culture Club Live in Europe
Europe has always been a great place for Culture Club for it being the bands real home base its not surprised this show was completely sold out and recorded live so brilliantly. The band sounds warm and enthusiastic which helps the music come alive. Although I dont know why that when the band played here in the usa for example at The Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood they use an orchestra for some of the songs. Also a strange thing some songs from the actual show are missing for example Love Is Love and The Crying Game as well too that were performed at this tour. Would of liked to have had these done live to hear on this package at least. Maybe Culture Club should release some of their shows that were done with an orchestra release as a whole concert as presented.

Not what I had hoped for.
Unfortunately the attributes that made Boy George's voice unique have diminished some with age and he doesnt sound as dynamic as he used to. The makeup is also gone and so this performance is good but nothing more.

FLAWLESS PERFORMANCE , AMAZING HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTION !
AMAZING Concert film, Culture Club is one of those bands you really need to appreciate when you see them perform live and this Concert Film is as good as it gets. The songs are timeless and inspired and defined 80's Pop/New Wave generation worldwide and Georges voice is seasoned and silky smooth after all these years. The Overall production quality and sound is incredible and the Musicianship is astounding with the full horn section and backup Soul Singers makes this concert film a MUST HAVE for not only Culture Club fans, but for all Pop/Rock, Soul Reggae fans, which this band is clearly influenced by, and tthis Film and Live Album will surely innfluence a new generation of music fans worldwide.

Excellent blu-ray of one of my favorite 80's bands.
Boy George's voice has deepened, and it's not as great as it was, but the band is as good as every and this is a very entertaining blu-ray. Sound is excellent as is the picture. I loved this band in the 80's, and they've still got it. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was for the awful re-arrangement of "The War Song", which was one of my favorite tunes from them. They butchered it here, but that's okay. This is worth every penny.

SPETTACOLARE
