I learned about these water activated water barrier while browsing through Amazon. Finally got a chance to try them out. The package came in a small box. I was surprise how thin each bag was.This weekend SoCal finally got hit with a late winter storm. I quickly set the barriers out to use. Initially, The bag seemed to be working ok to stop the water from coming in. Then, before the barriers were fully deployed by absorbing the water, rain water got inside the garage! I set up 2 lines of barriers and both failed. The actual bag was smaller than what the web listing showed. By the time the rain stopped, none of the barrier bags were fully deployed. I was very disappointed. I wondered if the barriers would work better if I pre-wet them. I will have to try again when next storm comes in next week.
