My husband loves coffee and he drinks it black. He is not usually a fan of medium to light roast but this brand really changed his view on it. If you have a coffee fan like my husband this is the perfect gift.

This coffee brand has some really amazing, very good and flavorful coffees. I buy some for my son often because he's a coffee connoisseur at 19 (or so he thinks). I'm a coffee addict and really, really enjoy these coffees.

I bought this Bourbon & Whiskey Barrel Aged Coffee Box Set as a birthday gift for my dad since he enjoys both coffee and whiskey. It turned out to be a really fun combo and he was excited to try it. The first thing he mentioned was how incredibly strong the whiskey aroma is. It smells so bold that he was actually concerned about drinking it before work. I checked the Coopers Cask website and it explains that the beans do absorb alcohol during the aging process but almost all of it burns off during roasting. They say you cannot get drunk from barrel-aged coffee and that any remaining amount is negligible. I told him that, but he is still skeptical because the scent is so intense. If you enjoy a strong whiskey aroma and likely a bold whiskey-infused flavor then this set is probably perfect. It makes a unique and memorable gift and even though the fragrance might surprise you, it is allegedly totally fine to drink without any worry about alcohol content.

First, let me give you a bit of my background, I served 10 years in the USA Navy and made two deployments to the Middle East. If there is one thing that the US military drinks more than alcohol it’s coffee. You name it I have tried it and every way it can be served from black to fru fru, even those “extreme caffeine” coffees. I was skeptical of this coffee, but willing to try it. The smell you get when the coffee percolates was very light almost unnoticeable which kinda of was a negative for me (could be a positive for people who don’t like the smell of coffee). The first sip was quite pleasant smooth with a light sweetness of rum but very smooth. I then added a splash of milk and one spoon of sugar! Second sip, perfection!!! The sweet of the sugar heightened the flavor of the rum making it dance around my tongue. The rum flavor delicately fades away leaving no trace or after taste. I find myself yearning to take another sip. Standing out on my patio in the cold breeze air I take another sip and close my eyes, memories flood back to my more youthful days standing watch in the North Atlantic the ship heaving in the waves and the coffee like a gift from the gods! This coffee is divine!

Bought for my boyfriend and we both thought they were really good. You can really taste it, very flavorful and when mixed with some cream and sugar is such a good little treat. I will be buying these as a gift for my dad to because he also likes coffee and alcohol.

I don't drink coffee but my husband does. He was really excited when he opened this present. He also got a French press so he immediately had to make himself a cup. He says the flavors of the bourbon and the aged oak were present as was a hint of Carmel and cherry. He was pretty impressed and in love. I just buy the coffee and he tastes it so I think it's a hit for him. As a veteran this is his to go place. It's funny for me to watch this grizzly old Marine get his French press out and measure and heat water to the correct temp and time and press and taste and sip and pour and look into the light and all that other stuff., but he loves it and if it keeps him happy then so be it.
