Don't last very long

The bulbs received are the wrong fitting. They do not even match the picture on the box they are enclosed in. I need a candle bulb with the lip, as seen in the first 2 photos. The original box code is SBC B15 NOT SBC B15d as sent. Need address to returned bulbs.

I believe these bulbs are at best very poor quality, and at worst dangerous. I certainly don't recommend buying them, and if you already have, then please take every precaution to minimise the potential hazard.I bought 10 of these bulbs 4 months ago, and to date have installed 4. One failed within a couple of weeks - no drama, just stopped working. This weekend, one failed in spectacular and hazardous fashion. When turning on the lights, there was a very loud 'pop' followed by darkness (house circuit breaker tripped) and the sound of many bits of broken glass landing. The bulb had literally exploded with considerable force. Fragments the size of a 5p coin were thrown up to 10ft from the bulb. Had there not been a robust shade all round the bulb, which caught any pieces ejected between the horizontal and near-vertical, I have no doubt that glass fragments would have been thrown considerably further.This may have been a 'one-off' or rare occurrence, but for a bulb to be able to fail in such a dangerous manner seems to indicate a major flaw in the design or manufacture of these bulbs. I've never known a conventional or fluorescent bulb to fail in such a dangerous way, so I certainly don't want these in the house and the remaining bulbs are going straight back to the supplier.

The product is good

i stored these in a dry room in house when opened this week to use i found rust on the metal caps so nit able to use them so binned total waste of money not happy ..

One bulb lasted just over 8 weeks. I will have to see how long the others last.

I am afraid only 3 out of 10 bulbs were usable. Four were rusted and Three were broken. I had to]throw them all away as too difficult to return them. I have 3 I could use. Not impressed.

These bulbs are for the light in my front room. They fit and the light is good.
