Q: I want to gift this to my vet. Every time we need to collect urine it’s pandemonium with Tupperware. Would they be allowed to use this?

Yes, certainly, your vet will very much appreciate your gift! There are now 2 versions of the dog urine collectors: the regular P-Scoop for small dogs and female dogs, and the P-Scoop Plus for big male dogs.

Q: Is this good for a 13lb maltipoo female?

I'm not sure the question if it's good. It will only work if it is positioned under the appropriate area. I used for my GSD female. I had to hide behind my back and sneak under at the right time.. I took in catch to Vet twice $80 a pop and basically ended up scheduling an aspiration for a clean catch. Vet told me contamination can be high with canine. She is on special urinary dogfood now.. The product works great for the design. I shared my story only. I also bought the strips to use reading ph levels and not so useful. Hope this helps.
