GF9: Aliens: Alien Warriors - 12 RPG Miniatures, Hard Plastic Figures, Unpainted, Roleplaying Game Accessories, Based On The 1986 Film Aliens

I believe this is a slightly older version of the same box kit, the lettering is different than the newer one and the assortment of aliens in different poses is different. It has poses that the newer kit does not have anymore. Awesome little kits, very glad they're putting out the Alien series it is so much fun to build to paint to play with with RPGs of the same name! The price point was reasonable for me, if this influences you to buy it I really really hope you like it as much as I do, but if you're looking for this particular kit pay attention to the poses of the aliens in the front. It's different from the newer version of this without those different poses, also as I said the lettering is different than the newer box as well

The models come with 4 "special" models (all on the same sprue) and 8 generic "warriors" (on the other 2 sprues). The instructions are good, just make sure you are reading for the right model. Each comes in 6 pieces (7 if you count the base), which are clearly labeled on the sprue. Those reviews complaining about having to assemble them are misguided. It says "assembly required" right there in the item description. These are not worse than any other wargaming miniature that comes on a sprue. For painting, just prime them black, then a gray drybrush, metal drybrush for the base ( I used copper), and a black ink wash. Then white on the nails and teeth, and you are done! I think I painted them faster than I assembled them.

These models are great, good scale, detail and poses. the proportions of the models are very accurate and these have some of the creepiness of the xenomorphs and Giger style. For the cost having 12 models of this quality is an amazing bargain, specially considering famous IPs miniatures tend to be overpriced. These are great for 5Parsec From Home (specially the Bug Hunt version) and other low model counts games, but having 8+ of these bunched in a corridor really get the picture right. Of course also the best to play the Aliens RPG from Free League.

I did not realize this required assembly, the picture show the box which doesn't say anywhere on it, the headline for the item doesn't either. Ok surprise, but I was work with that and figure it out. But than the instruction are half-baked. It doesn't tell you the tools you require (jewelry cutter or pliers to free from hard plastic) or that you'll need glue to actually hold them together (thought they would click together). And on top of that, it states in the instructions the heads and tails of the warriors are interchangeable. They are not, heads are, but not the tails are not. They gave trouble trying to attach them, and one broke while I was holding it waiting for glue to dry. If I had known they were DIY I wouldn't have bought them.

This is a wonderful mini set with superb detail and goes to a great and very entertaining game. Zero complains about the minis, ease of putting together and the extreme amount of detail. Purchased every set and they are all fantastic.

My husband adores these and is super excited to build them. They seem to be of high quality and a good scale.

Cast in 30 mm plastic, these alien figures are the perfect organism for your modeling needs, whether gaming or static dioramas.

Hard to put together. Ended up trashing them.

As miniaturas são de plástico rígido, muito bem feitas e bem acabadas. Pra quem quer deixar sua mesa de RPG, ou mesmo de wargames mais diversificada, ou só para enfeitar a estante, essas miniaturas são incríveis! Recomendo!
