Buy extra batteries. Maybe an extra set.
I bought two sets, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Hung them in the inside of my windows. Super bright, and the remote is so useful. I used command hooks, because the suction cups included are not very good at all. It does require three AA batteries and the batteries last about a week. When replacing the batteries, one of the electrical parts in the battery case came off, and I did not have the knowledge to fix it. So had to toss the entire star. Go to Costco, buy extra batteries. Maybe an extra set of these lights because the battery packs are flimsy.

Would just turn off
They were so cute and I loved the many light settings. Using the remote to simultaneously set all six stars was great. Wanted to do red/green for Christmas and then switch to multi color/flashing going into NYE. But alas, after just a day, and switching out two different brands of batteries, two would randomly shut off way ahead of the six hour timing setting.Returned them this morning. :(

Nice product but eats batteries
It is a nice looking product, but expect to go through A LOT of batteries. Each of the three stars takes three AA batteries. and having them on a few hours each night, the batteries need replacing weekly, so you are using nine batteries a week. They start acting strangely (going to other light features, shutting off prematurely) when the batteries get low.

Fantastic product!
I read several reviews before purchasing that all complained about battery life.Not sure what they did wrong but I have absolutely NO complaints about battery life. I used new Duracell Alkaline AA, set up the timer for 6 hrs, to start with my other lights using the remote control. Running a chasing LED pattern.THAT WAS 19 DAYS AGO!Getting 19 or more days is fantastic for a product that drives this many LEDs.I was so impressed I bought another set to put in my other windows.

Drains batteries fast no matter how expensive the battery.
Pros:Best looking led light color & resembels the old school neon light glow.RemoteGood quality product.Cons:Drains battery even when on timer. Lasts only 20 hoursWish the battery pack held 4 or more batteries rather than 3. They would last longer.I see a lot of comments saying the lights were on for a few days then stopped working. That happened to me on all of the 10 I bought.I have a battery level meter and found that the lights would not stay on after the better was at the low level. The lights were not broke they just drained the battery to a point that they would go out and not stay on. So if that happens change the batteries.

I wanted to love them
These looked amazing hanging in my window. Timer worked great, remote was easy to use & the colors were so vibrant. Worked great for 2days. Now they shut off randomly, don't turn on at all, turn on then shut off and I can't seem to get all 3 to just stay on. I wish I paid more attention to the negative reviews. It seems we all had the same problem

The Worst
They are great stars but they only lasted 3 weeks. Now only 2 out of 6 will turn on. The other 4 either won’t turn on or turn on and go off randomly. You can forget about these unless you like getting a headache trying to keep them working. Will cost me more to return so in the garbage they will go.

Beautiful, but be aware
I love how the stars look, but be aware that each one has 3 batteries that only last about 48 hours so be sure to have a lot of batteries.
