After using this product for a few weeks, I've noticed my skin clear up a lot and look less irritated than before when I was using an acne cleanser. I use it day and night and have been very happy with the results so far.

quite effective
So Priori is positioned as a high end brand of facial cleanser by the price that they are asking for this thing, and so I had some pretty lofty expectations for it. That being said, I would say that there are good things about it for sure, and some things that I wasn't too crazy about. I use it during my nightly shower, as the instructions suggest to leave it on the face for a few minutes before washing away, so I wash my face in the shower after washing my hair, and then leave it on there as I get to the rest of the my body, and then rinse off everything together. I am someone who tends to like a lathering wash, but it seems that it is getting more popular to have cleansers with the consistency of lotion more and more these days. This one falls into that latter category, not the lather category. Ok, not too bad I guess, but foaming is a personal preference for me. That being said, I did find it effective at cleaning, and leaving my skin feeling nice and soft. I tend to get a dry spot or two on my face and this did well to sort of gently exfoliate those dry patches while not being abrasive, so good job there. It is fragrance free, but not free of some kind of fragrance which is not terribly pleasant, but not really off putting either. Tolerable, is the best way that I can describe the smell. That's fine though, because what is most important to me is the results from it's use, and in that department I am satisfied. I do find it expensive, but I will say that it does work like a high end product should, so the results so far have been very good. I look forward to more long term use, and hopefully increased benefits for my skin.

Really??So anyone can tamper, return and resell.I did not feel safe to use as this was not sealed.I don't know if I received opened item or all priori skincare are not sealed.I did not like the smell either as other reviewers mentioned. It smelled rotten cucumber.....Not worth $45!

Perfect for sensitive skin or mature skin using prescription actives.
I'm dealing with 50 year old skin and I definitely have some areas that are highly sensitive to AHA's and BHA's. I really like the formulation that Priori has come up with for this cleanser. It reminds me of the texture and feel of the product I use to prep my skin the week before I do a major chemical peel, but it's so much more gentle than that one. The combination of salicylic (I'm just gonna call it SAL) and lactic acid creates an incredibly effective but surprisingly gentle exfoliant to aid in the turnover/sloughing of those dead skin cells that create that dullness we're all trying to get rid of.Now I mentioned that I have some sensitive areas (mostly my neck and weirdly, my entire nose area) that I have to be careful of when I'm using exfoliating acids. I just don't have any reaction from my sensitive areas with this, even when I'm using it on an (almost) daily basis. I have also recently upped my strength in my prescription skincare and added a few more prescription strength treatments. My derm suggested I cut down to using this once a week while my skin was going through it's adjustment. She wanted me to keep using it though because it was gentle enough not to inflame or irritate myI skin and it would help slough off the peeling skin that comes along with the increased strength in prescriptives. It has worked beautifully. Oh, here's the additional details you might be interested in: there is no scent to speak of, the texture is smooth and very soft on the skin, it works like most other chemical exfoliant cleansers so it doesn't lather up and needs some water to slip around on the skin effectively. I usually just splash my face, neck and chest with water and then go in with the Priori cleanser. I leave it on for a couple minutes while gently massaging all areas and then rinse it off with my microfiber face cloth. One of my daughters (the 20 year old) will use it every time she comes home and spends the night and is thinking about ordering her own bottle. She deals with mostly "sweat acne" from working out and sports and she has been blessed with amazing skin that really needs very little care to look amazing. She basically washes it at night....so doing this occasionally is her idea of skincare (3 girls means 3 very different sets of problems in EVERY area). The price seems high, but when you consider how little you have to use and how effective it is, the bottle is going to last you for a LONG time and the results can not be argued with.
