Size:4-Pack Delo XLC Antifreeze/Coolant is a heavy-duty, ethylene glycol based engine coolant which incorporates patented organic corrosion inhibitor technology called aliphatic carboxylates. Delo XLC is a nitrite, nitrate, borate, phosphate, silicate, and amine-free formulation that provides maximum protection of the six basic metal alloys found in most heat transfer systems. Delo XLC products do not contain phosphates or silicates which are known to contribute to hard water scale issues. Delo XLC promotes maximum water pump seal life by eliminating inorganic corrosion inhibitors. Delo XLC has a recommended service life of 600,000 miles/ 1,000,000 km/12,000 hours/6 years. This product will not require the addition of SCA’s to achieve its recommended service life. Routine visual inspections, coolant top-off and annual testing are recommended to ensure maximum service life.

Kills mold and mold spores in a wood transom
I used this product to kill any mold spores on the wood transom of my boat, it will kill bugs too. :)I cleaned the inside exposed surface my transom thoroughly, dried it completely using a small ceramic heater for weeks 24/7 ahead of time.I then squirted the Ethylene Glycol in all the nooks and crannies making sure to soak all places possible.Because it is water soluable it will penetrate even if the wood is slightly damp, bone dry is better though.It should be safe for aluminum boats as is but under no circumstances use boric additives!! Your aluminum will beeaten alive!! Boric compounds is acidic and will aggresively attack aluminum!It does take time to dry and a small ceramic space heater works well as before in order to top off exposed wood with an epoxy sealer.I applied two coats of CPES, clear penitrating epoxy sealer, after the Ethylene Glycol treatment and then will top it off with two coats of epoxy resin.Be very careful using Ethylene Glycol because dogs, cats and other animals are attracted to it because of the sweet taste and it will kill them too.Wipe up any spills right away!!

the real stuff - but been sitting a bit
so far so good after using a gallon (diluted to 2 gallons) box and containers look very dirty, but the concentrate is clean and a beautiful bubble gum color
