Ok so here’s the down and dirty:- Actually pretty easy to put together. I did this by myself with no assistance other than a drill and a dimly lit living room after a 10 hour shift. It took me about 1.5 hours to put together. The instructions are well written, up until I realized I had one small wood piece (piece 12) left that I couldn’t figure out where I had missed installing it. Figured the furniture was stable without so I just moved on with my life.- The drawers DO NOT open all the way. If you’re storing anything in them, either put a buffer in the back of the drawer or store items long ways/in containers otherwise you will have to bend your arm to find it.- Amazon has rolls of memory foam for $30 that are super easy to cut to size to fit inside the bed area for your pups. I searched high and low and couldn’t find an actual dog bed that fit the dimensions so I figured I would go the next best route.- If you’re confused on if your giant fur babies will fit in here!!! I have the answer and the photo evidence! I have a king shepherd, he’s an old man and has never been in a crate before (he’s a good boy) he’s mostly made of hair and tail but he’s roughly 125lbs. The other fluff ball is still a puppy but a big one currently at 60lbs and stands as tall as the shepherd. The puppy is Great Pyrenees/shepherd/husky.THEY BOTH FIT COMFORTABLY WITH THE DIVIDER!The shepherd is able to sit and while his ears do fold over, he does fit. Turning around is a bit difficult for him, but it’s hard to tell if it’s because he’s older or if he just has less space (could be a combination).Overall, this works for what I intended it for and it looks great.

I changed my rating from 1 Star to 4 Stars, due to the quick response and professionalism of the sellers customer service.They responded quickly and offered a solution that was hard to argue with.They refunded my purchase and told me to keep the crate.I didn’t use the crate because it just wasn’t the quality that I need but their customer service is outstanding.If you need a very minimal quality dog crate then this just may work for you.I purchased this with high hopes that I’d get a decent dog kennel that looks like a piece of furniture.Much like the pictures and description depict of this dog kennel.Once it arrived the box that it was shipped in looked fine and I was excited to open it up and get to work putting it together.That excitement quickly vanished as I was unpacking the piece's and noticed a broken piece of wood.I looked at it and thought, well it’s not so bad and I could most likely glue it back in place without anyone ever noticing the break.But then as I unpacked more pieces I found more and more broken pieces to the point that my only option was to request a return or replacement.So I went to my Amazon Prime account and the only option was a return.The part that really pissed in my cereal was I was required to pay for the return postage.I contacted Amazon support and they told me that this particular seller set up their account to handle their own returns as opposed to Amazon handling the issue themselves.If I was looking to deal with a third party seller I could’ve simple ordered the same kennel from numerous other websites, honestly I could’ve ordered the same one from Alibaba and waited an extra week or so and got it for considerably cheaper.But I’m an Amazon Prime loyal customer like so many of us are for the ease and simplicity of the entire shopping process.However I will say that if I’m forced to cover the return shipping cost for a product that was clearly damaged prior to my receiving it then I’d say to you Don’t Buy From This Seller.If the seller makes good on this transaction I will update my review.

Takes 6-8 hours to assemble; but easy to follow instructions.

Returned, it costs about $200 to send back, but some $$$ back is better than nothing back. The Cage doesn't hold up to dogs wanting to get out, period. In this case, it wasn't chewing, but bending the slat bars apart by nuzzling through.Amazon accepted RTN; we will see.My 40-pound dog took his nose and pushed the bar out and escaped. This was on the pre-fabricated side end side, so it had nothing to do with assembly as the front, you have to set the bars and frame in. The metal is too pliable. Note the particle wood splintered inward and it wasn't "torn" or eaten out. Dog just shoved through it. I messaged the seller, and will update based on the resolution, but not $600 quality.

We really like this kennel. It is is decorative and fits well with the decor.Pros -Looks nicefunctional and good drawer spaceThis is definitely a decorative piece that is multi functional piece of furniture that can work in many spaces, bedroom, living room etc.Cons -There is lots of parts! Don’t expect a quick assemble.It is not built tough, if you have a chewer or a dog that resists kenneling this is not for you.The space between the bars is pretty wide and a small dog/puppy could get head caught.Wood is not strong/ light weight (this is not an issue given the the size and age of our dogs but may not be suitable for chewing pups or destructive dogs).Over all we really like this kennel and it works for us. The 5 star is based on our experience but its not for everyone. We have 3 dogs. The two 6 year olds love it and are content in the space. We have a 4 month old puppy and I will not put her in here until she is done chewing and trying to get our of the kennel. This is not going to work for her. With that said it’s what we were looking for and love that it fits with our house decor. I would not buy this unless your dogs are kennel comfortable, not anxious and non-chewers.

Do not recommend for kennel training puppies. Even with a puppy pad the urine soaks into the particle board. Wish bars in the middle could be removed for a larger space. Otherwise good and heavy.
