I bought this as a nightlight for the children. The initial problem was that as the battery only lasts 8 hours, rather than just turning off when it runs out, instead it emits an annoying buzzing sound that wakes every one up. This was bad enough, but on charging one day i found the base of the unit to be very hot and smelt of electrical burning. Can't take the chance of leaving it in the same room as my children. In the bin, waste of money.

This would be a good product-it has decent sound, and reasonable light options. However, twenty hours battery from fully charged? No! We had 5 hours from first full charge, after which we were lucky to get 4. Not much use for “overnight”! Furthermore, the mains cable it comes with is so short it isn’t practical to use as any more than a charging cable-it isn’t really long enough to run from a socket to the top of a bedside table.Finally, once in Bluetooth mode, no number of attempts to more to another mode seem to work.A good idea, if only it did what it said.

Ok its not the loudest speaker or brightest lamp but it does a very good job for what's its supposed to and that's be a bedside lamp that plays music. Cool little item.

When I opened the box , I was pleased about the product. However it doesn't turn the LED lights on straightaway. I do take my time to figure out how to changes colors while it is on playing a music as it hasn't come with instructions. The music sounds to maximum is still low as it should be a speaker but the volume is the same to my iPhone's volume which do annoys me a bit. I will be given it as a gift and hope my friend will like it.

Bought this as a gift and was not let down. I only wanted a smallish lamp that glows different colours - but saw this with the built in speaker instead and was amazed. The brightness and colours are INSANE and the sound quality is also very good and can go really loud. Perfect gift for anyone really, as I feel like anybody would love this. Can’t believe the price as I would still buy even if it was much more expensive as it’s amazing

I guess it's a genius idea to combine a speaker and light combo. This has replaced my lamp next to my bed, perfect for podcasts before bedtime. Touch on/off makes it easy to use, rather than fidgeting for a switch on a cable. A worthy addition to my bedroom!

This is a mighty product for its size. Great for its price. Very easy to operate. Even my one year old can work it out.The speaker has a good sound quality, just long press the keys for volume and short press for next.The night light feels so cosy and has 3 levels of dim. You can also leave it steady on coloured lights too or put it on light changing. Great item.
