Fillet knife
I got this knife to process deer. Just like any other buck knife it is razor sharp. I like the flex of the blade and it is an around a solid knife.

nice filet knife, buck always makes a good product, stayed sharp for awhile but had to resharpen it as you have to do with any knife, the handle feels very good as well.

Sharp knife
I bought the longer one for my fishing and now also use it for butchering deer. My son in law needed one, so I purchased him one as well. Blade flexes well for getting around bone and seems to hold an edge well as long as it isn't abused too much. I took off one star because it isn't the easiest thing to clean with those notches in the handle

Great knife
This is a classic brand for a reason. Their knives are consistently reliable. A fillet knife needs to be sharp and precise, and this one delivers. You can feel the quality in the construction. It's definitely a worthwhile investment for any fishing enthusiast.

Messerkauf ist Ansichtssache und so habe ich mir drei Filetiermesser zur Auswahl bestellt: dieses und zwei Marttiini Marttiini Lachsmesser, ohne, 902819 , Marttiini Messer Finnisches Filiermesser, preiswert, Klinge 19 cm, rostfrei, Kunststoff-Scheide 904619 . Das Buck liegt hervorragend in der Hand, ist massiv und sehr gut ausbalanciert (besser als die Klappmesser-Variante: Buck Filiermesser Silver Creek, 420J2 Stahl mit, T ). Die Klinge ist sehr scharf, jedoch nicht so flexibel wie ich es von meinem WMF-Küchenmesser zum Filetieren kenne. Noch ein wertfreier Hinweis: Diese Serie lässt Buck in China fertigen. Fazit: Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, klare Kaufempfehlung!

The size of this knife is great. Its taking me abit to get used to the extra 3 inches but it feels nice and perfectly balanced in my hand.

切れ味問題なくキャンプの調理フィレナイフとして十分機能しました。ブレードが薄いのでブッシュクラフトには向きません。この出品の写真は20170420時点で間違った写真で、このシリーズの長いブレードのものと取り違えてる可能性あり。刃の長さは16cmで長すぎず形に無理がない。グリップは良いが溝が深く汚れがたまりやすい。
