Panasonic Additional Cordless Phone Handset, Advanced Call Block, Compatible with KX-TGF94x and KX-TGF97x Series - KX-TGFA97B (Black with Silver Trim)

This is the best cordless phone system I have ever had. I wanted to use my old land line number, but I've been getting at least two dozen spam calls a day. This new system has an auto block feature that, if activated, requires unknown callers to press the number 1 before they are connected. The only way I know someone has called is by going thru indicated missed calls, because spam calls never ring. But, any number in your phonebook bypasses the autoblock. The system was simple to set up including the answering system. Speed dial was more interesting. I could find speed dial in the settings list, but it wasn't clear how to add one, but once you put in the phone number you want to add using the speed dial setting, you merely hold a keypad number down for 3 or 4 seconds, which will add the number. I also added a sixth handset which once it was charged, pretty well registered itself with a single press of the locator button on the base unit. Finally, volume and battery life are great, I use speaker phone a lot and it just doesn't seem to wear down. All in all, Panasonic makes a great product.

If I were to describe a recent purchase as "LOVE IT" this might be the ONE! The phone works very well. I have no issues with sound quality. I love the call block. These days, I am getting calls from all the prior users of this number and those marketers calling this number for whatever reason. After blocking some thirty or so calls, the marketers are down to a trickle..

Mixed review! These are Good and work well, but expect patience with setup. For example linking to your mobile or hearing aids–Note that they are only limited to one OR the other Bluetooth device (cannot be used simultaneously). I suggest buying Like-New (pre-owned) from the Amazon Warehouse and saving 50% of the cost because these really aren't worth the $200+ price point, but I suppose $100 is reasonable. The loud speaker is mediocre and not Great–check out Panasonic's +12db cheaper model without Bluetooth if you're buying for elders or need that additional hearing capability. This model is a "niche" item for those who need the mobile-link or Bluetooth hearing-aid functionality, but otherwise this model is quite overpriced and there are better options. Lastly, spam calls will get by the "14,000" preset list because the list is mostly outdated from 2021. Oh and turn off the battery warning in the settings or buy 1100mah batteries for +$10, because the 400mah ones provided only last 4-5 hours off the charging station. Not a big deal depending on your use case but something to be aware of. Thanks, and God Bless! ♥️

The landline phone system we had in our home worked fine however the problem was that we were constantly bombarded each day with Robo Calls and all kinds advertising and junk spam phone call that were just never ending and very annoying to say the least. I did quite a bit of research on Amazon on the new generation of phones that included anti spam technology and ultimately decided up this Panasonic phone system after going through all the product reviews. I also liked the fact that it was made by Panasonic. The phone system I was replacing was also Panasonic and had served us well for many years so I have faith in the brand. Setup and installation of the system was straight forward and easy enough and within 30 minutes I had the system up and running and set up. I did have to read the instructions in order to set up my preferred preferences (voice message, ring volume, spam settings, etc) but I found the instructions very clear and easy to follow. This phone allows you to sync it with your cellular phones, which is a really nice option, but I have no interest in this feature at the present time so I didn't bother with that, however I did read the instructions on how to do it and it didn't appear to be to complicated. I may utilize the cell phone feature later.. I found the system to be visually attractive and of quality construction and the best part of all is that from the minute I activated the system the spam phone calls immediately stopped. It was like a miracle We would receive no less that a dozen such annoying spam phone calls each day, sometimes two dozen. It's been 2 days now and we have not received even 1 such annoying call. My wife and I are thrilled to say the least and if a spam call does slip through somehow all we have to do is simply press the "Block" call button and the phone and that number will never be able to call us again. The system comes pre-programmed with an internal list of known spam callers and you can add your own numbers to that list if you need to simply by hitting the "Block" button. Doesn't get any easier than that. This is really a great system, I love it. Its spam blocking technology really works well and the amount of other features that the phone has is amazing. If you're looking to replace your older phone system in order to avoid those annoying spam calls just order this system.... you will be very happy you did.

I have been using these Panasonic systems for years. Eventually, like everything that gets old, my previous system needed to be updated. I tried a V-tech system that looked to have all the same feature but cost less. I just replaced that system with this Panasonic as there is no substitute for the quality and extensive features, many of which, are not capabilities of the V-tech system. While they both support BT connectivity with 2 cell phones, there are significant differences and the Panasonic works consistently and with a fuller suite of functions. I was able to import my address book from my cell phone, and call blocking functions are better and easier to use. Sound quality is comparable and voicemail features similar. The V-tech, while indicating BT connection with the cell phone, did not work consistently, and is one of the main reasons for needing that capability - to consistently make and receive cell phone calls via this home system with its 5 handsets.

Ya conocía la marca y es muy buena, sobre todo que en particular buscaba el ID con voz, es muy práctico para no contestar llamadas desconocidas y solo atender a las registradas, resulta muy seguro también poder bloquear números desconocidos

Me gustó el diseño,la memoria para guardar 100 contactos todo me gustó menos que cuando llaman dice el nombre y solo tiene un sonido no hay más
