theBalm Make-Up Palette, How 'Bout Them Apples?, 0.7 oz.

Love this product! I have pale skin and the colors arent too overwhelming, but are very buildable if you want more bold color. I apply with a stippling brush or stiff blush brush and just tap and blend until I get desires results. Does leave dewy look, but not oily or sticky. Can finish with powder I you dont want to dewy look or a matte powder and wont look cakey. I have dry skin so this has been great at keeping moisture in and my appearance smooth. As for lips, I find its too dry for lips because its not oily, however, apply over chapstick and cover with a sheer lip gloss and it works great and still keeps lasting effect. Every person is different, but for me, and my dry skin, I works perfectly. I also live in the PNW so even w/o a matte or powder finish the dewy look is very subtle. I still add Mary-Lou highlight so my skin looks bright and dewy in our constant year-round gloomy gray skies. That being said, not sure how this product would work for oily skin or summer/warmer weather. But fantastic for dry northerners!

Wasn't big in the "sexy" cowboy pics on the inside but whatever.This is a great cream blush. Great selection of colors that can go from natural flush to more dramatic if that's your thing.I'm very fair blonde/blue eyes and there are at least two colors so far that look gorgeous.Application is simple I get product out with pinky finger-light tap three times along my cheekbone and blend by quickly tapping up and down cheekbones with middle and ring finger together with a little circle blending on apple of my cheeks.Lasts all day beautifully, blends beautifully, no skin reactions or breakouts.

I really like this product, however the compact itself is too large. I wish each color popped out of the larger carrying case so I could throw which ever I'm using into my purse.Consistency & Color: The balm is creamy in texture and the pigments intense in color. Although some may look really bright in the compact, each color rubs into my cheeks to provide a soft blush (and I am very fair). They last well throughout the day or evening.Application of: Because the balms have an oily/lotion-like finish, I like to apply them over my foundation, yet UNDER my powder. I find this layering technique provides a great glow that leaves my cheeks with a china doll-type finish. I do not use this product for my lips, because it is to thin for lips, wears off quickly, and unfortunately the size of the compact doesn't allow you to take a color with you to reapply throughout the day/night.To Summarize: I give the product 4 stars because of the size of the compact. This should not be a deterrent! The product is fun with all the topless men, and makes a great gift that will last for a long time.

Honestly, I got this palette because the packaging is so darn cute. In reality, I don't use this palette at all. If you're not a big fan of cream blushes, or if you don't wear a lot of blush at all, I would hold off on this palette. But, if you use cream blushes or you like to experiment with different blushes, I would recommend this palette, because it has all the basic colors you would ever need. The product itself blends nicely and seems to wear fairly well.

LOVE these. They stain your lips and cheeks and are a nice base under other lipsticks or glosses. My only complaint is they are one larger "book" of six (it has a magnet closure which is very cool and works great) and not convenient for a smaller purse when you go out. I sish they sold these in sets of two so you could bring them along. Other wise fantastic product even better than expected and I saw them recommended on a ladies TV talk show.

Not as pigmented as I'd hoped, and WAY greasy. Pretty colors in the case though.

I love cream blushes over powdered ones and this is my favorite. Highly pigmented and a great variety of shades and I still have blush on at the end of the day and that never happens.

I have JUST received it, only used it twice. I do have to say, as my first cream blush, I am very satisfied.Packaging is cute, blushes are good looking and buildable, and it holds in place.

Ich habe schon mehrere Cremerouges ausprobiert u.a. von MAC, NYX und Bobbi Brown, aber diese Palette von theBalm übertrifft alles! Wow, die Farben sind wunderschön und die typische theBalm Verpackung ist ein absoluter Hingucker. Was aber noch überzeugender ist, ist die Qualität der Cremerouges. Sie sind gut pigmentiert (Farbe kann "aufgebaut" werden) und sie halten den ganzen Tag auf den Wangen!!! Ich habe heute Sport gemacht und geschwitzt, aber die Wangen sehen immer noch rosig aus und sogar meine Lippen haben noch die Farbe drauf, obwohl ich sehr viel getrunken habe. Das hat bis jetzt kein einziges Cremerouge bei mir geschafft. Der Preis ist zwar happig, aber es lohnt sich!!! Diese Palette ist jeden Cent wert! Sogar Stains können hier nicht mithalten! WOW, Wow, Wow!!!
