Best overall case I've used, excellent value for money
Bought this not expecting too much having not heard of the company brand before and just basing my purchase off of other customer reviews. So far they have been almost certainly right and this product as a whole definitely deserves 5 stars. For the purposes of this review I will however be separating the review into two sections, the case as one and the screen protector. Case: The case snaps VERY snug over the back of the case with excellent cut outs for all of the S9 sensors aligning perfectly. The case is made of a strong durable plastic which to me at least is very aesthetically pleasing. The case contrasts well with the S9s slim feminine body giving a slightly more rugged look which is very attractive in jet black. Full access to the screen itself is present and the corners of the case protector do not intrude on the screen at all. The back of the case features excellent cut outs fpr the camera, fingerprint sensor, and heart rate sensor and works flawlessy. Below this cut out is the unicorn beetle branding. This branding is also in black and blends in well with the black plastic of the case. Also on the back are six low profile rubber grips which ensure the case sticks well to what ever surface it is on. These are an excellent little feature. The buttons located on the S9 are highly tactile and easy to distinguish from one another. Protection wise this case is absolutely excellent, the companys name of beetle is aptly named here and it genuinely feels as tough as a beetles shell. Thick rubber edges protect the corners especially from accidental drops and slightly raised edges protect the screen if the phone were to land on it's face. Lastly excellent cut outs are present at the top and bottom of the case for the S9 speakers which provide excellent protection whilst maintaining audio output. Closable rubber openings are present at the bottom of the case which can be opened or closed depending on whether you are using the charging port or the headphone jack. This case is also wireless charging compatible which is surprising but an excellent feature. Screen protector: This is where this product loses some marks in my opinion. The screen protector is made of a flexible plastic which seems resistant to scratches but is an absolute magnet for fingerprints and grime. It is not the easiest to clean effectively and a more premium gorilla glass protector would be a nice option for unicorn beetle to provide to those customers who prefer a more premium look. The screen protector is not bad however and fits very snugly to the screen, when it is clean you will likely not even know it's there at all. The screen protector has openings for all of the S9 sensors which is great. Lastly when the screen gets dirty the phones can be slightly difficult to register touch feedback so it is advisable to keep it clean Finally the belt clip works well and offers an added layer of protection to the screen if used correctly Pros: excellent value for money, excellent protection, excellent aesthetics and button feedback Cons: slightly disapointig screen protector doesn't let you experience the full beauty of the AMOLED display UNLESS it is perfectly clean.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Because it actually works, I even tested it.....by throwing it into the air and my phone didn't break at all, so in the future I'll be buying this again.

Great S9 protective case if you don't want a flip type case
I want to be able to get my phone from my pocket and use it one-handed, a so flip type case that you have to open before you can use the phone doesn't suit me. And this case really fits the bill. The back and edges of the phone are very well protected by the back of the case. And the touchscreen is covered by a transparent plastic film built into the front of the case, and that film seems to be quite durable and scratch resistant but it has no noticeable effect on using the touchscreen - all my taps and swipes work perfectly. I knew before I bought the case that the belt clip holster case that it comes with wouldn't suit me - I wouldn't want to mount my phone on a belt. But I do cycle a lot and after cutting the belt clip off the holster (not that easy but I managed it without damaging the holster) I'm able to use the holster as an added protection for the front of the phone when I'm riding with it in my cycling jersey pocket. I like this since when cycling I'd have to stop first before I could use my phone, so the extra time to unclip it from the holster doesn't really matter in that situation, and it gives the phone the extra protection I'd like in case I have a fall, since the holster is quite sturdy and covers the front of the phone, and clips onto the back of the case with a gap between it and the front of the phone, so the phone screen is very well protected.

Good case if you hate screen protectors
Screen protectors are always the most fiddly part of getting a new phone. So a case with a protector like this built in is ideal. Application was simple, provided you've given your phone a proper clean before hand. It clips on easily and I've not had any problem using the buttons on the phone and the screen is as responsive as I expected. The only issue seems to be that the seal isn't perfect. It seems to let dust and particles in over time. Not small bits either, one corner of the screen started to get very unresponsive and when I looked at it it was because something had got in and was holding the protector off the screen. Opened it up and cleaned it again, back to good. I like it, be perfect if could hold card but now I'm knitpicking. The seal is the main issue but would still recommend.

Very Solid Case
I've had this case since December 2018 and it is very good. It has protected my phone well through numerous falls and things being dropped on it. It does make the phone a little bulkier but it's not excessive and you quickly get used to it and the trade off is more than worth it. The case originally came with a plastic screen protector built in to the front part of the case. This lasted pretty well for 15 months, suffering only minor scratches (although I am careful not to have keys or coins in same pocket as phone). However in the last 6 weeks or so, the screen protector gradually got scratched over the middle 50% of the screen, almost like a protective coating on it had finally worn out and allowed it to be more vulnerable to scratching. It was still use able and still protecting my phone screen, just a bit annoying when there is nothing wrong with the rest of the case. Rather than replace the the whole case, I carefully removed the screen protector from where it was glued inside the front half. I then applied a brand new screen protector from a different seller, directly onto phone screen. I then reassembled the Supcase back onto my phone and new screen protector and its good as new. Cost me £4 for the new screen protector instead of 20 for whole new case.

The product is great. It's made out of good quality plastics and is rigid adequately at the corners. It comes with a belt clip holster has a good overall protection. Though after installing it gives a sense of a bulkier phone. The screen protector works well and can be used with a pre-installed tempered glass.
