TOLESA - 12 Pieces CR-V Wood Cutting Recipricating Saw Blades
I haven’t had my reciprocating saw for all that long, so have only used the blades that it came with so far, so picked up this pack from TOLESA to go with it.In the set you get a total of 12 blades, with 6 of them being 6” (150mm) in length with a TPI of 6 and the remaining blades being 9” (230mm) with a TPI of 5.All of the blades are fitted with the standard universal fitting so should attach to pretty much any brand of Recip saw and are made from Chrome-Vanadium Steel as opposed to the more commonly used HCS and HSS, which the manufacturer claims should make them more durable, flexible and heat resistant. The set comes neatly stored inside a nylon pouch with 6 pockets and secures closed using hook and loop.***** In The Box *****6 x 150mm 6TPI Blades6 x 230mm 5TPI Blades***** Conclusion *****I cannot really say how these blades from TOLESA compare to more expensive brands, as i have only used the ones that came with the saw, but have had a quick try on some pine which cut through easily.I like that you get 2 different sizes, as sometimes the smaller blades can be useful when you need a bit more rigidity or need to cut in more confined spaces. The blades all feel pretty sharp and i like the included storage pouch, which even has enough room (with a bit of swapping about), to fit my old blades into as well.I think the £19.99 asking price seems pretty reasonable and compares well with other brands.

Good value reciprocating saw blade set!
A well presented set of reciprocating saw blades from Tolesa. The blades come as a set of 12 blades, six shorter blades at 150mm with 6Tpi and six longer blades at 225mm with 5Tpi, all enclosed in a foldable pouch with a velcro closure.I tested the blades using a DeWalt reciprocating saw and used them to cut up the branches from a large conifer. The blades located in the DeWalt saw snugly and securely.Compared to the Toolstation blades I was previously using, the Tolesa blades appear to have a more complicated tooth set and pattern and cutting the thicker branches certainly seemed easier compared to the straight set blades supplied by Toolstation (for allegedly the same purpose) and the cuts were aggresive and fast.No problems whatsoever with the shorter blades but the longer blades seemed very prone to bending if there was any sort of jamming during the cut.Neither length of blade was particularly successful with smaller diameter branches as the lack of rigidity in the branches seemed to push the blades out resulting in jamming and vibration.Overall I am very pleased with the performance and speed of these blades and they seem very good value at this price!

A great set of CRV blades in a great little case
⚙️These TOLESA blades are made of chromium-vanadium (CRV) steel for enhanced durability, flexibility, and heat resistance. The steel grade is also corrosion-resistant, which is important when using these blades to prune trees outside. As you can imagine, having blades that are inherently flexible but also strong is great news for this type of blade. I have used this kind of blade on demolition jobs, and the ability to bend the blade into gaps to cut through the wood is essential in my view. This does make the blades more expensive than some of the cheaper versions on the market, but it is well worth it. The only thing to bear in mind is that some flexibility makes these blades less suitable for jobs where rigidity is important.I really like the following features:⭐ I quite liked the case that the blades are supplied in. Although the pockets are relatively full of blades already, with two in each, there is room for more, and you could populate the case with replacements if needed. The blade teeth do catch on the cloth of the holder, but with care, this can be reduced, and the holder should last a reasonable amount of time.⭐ The blades are well coated, and although this starts to wear off quickly, it means that the blades will be protected until you come to use them.⭐ The blades all engaged well with all the saws that I tried them with, including Bosch. This firm connection is critical for safely using the blade. The following I didn’t like so much:⚖️ I thought at first glance that I was obtaining Sawzall Milwaukee blades, but these are from a different company and seem to be applying the genericized term to the product. I might be mistaken, but it is worth bearing in mind.⚙️Otherwise, these blades should be able to handle a wide range of cutting tasks, from soft wood to hardwood and even PVC and plastic pipes. They are available in both 150mm (6TPI) and 225mm (5TPI) sizes for different cutting needs. The 150mm blades offer aggressive cutting with straight and square cuts, while the 225mm blades are more flexible for flush cuts and pruning. The sharp teeth and closely-spaced gullets improve cutting efficiency, debris clearing from the cut surface, and reduces friction. ✔️

Impressive set of blades, well packaged and presented
Impressive set of blades, well packaged and presented, was interested in trying them because of the claimed advantages of the CR-V steel they are made from. The blades perform a quick, neat enough cut with little sign of blade wandering, so for the intended purpose they perform well. They fit well in my Worx brushless reciprocating saw.The two lengths supplied allow for different cutting situations;Shorter 150mm blade set up for more aggressive cutting, and straighter / squarer cutsLonger 225mm blade set up for pruning tasks and larger timbersThe included quality tool pouch keeps them organised, with room for more blades if required.Price wise (£19.99 at time of review) does put it at the upper end of the cost of these sized blade sets, but they are good quality and effective in use, along with the benefits offered by being made from CR-V steel, still think they make a good purchase.

Wish i had found these a long time ago.
Excellent blades and value for the money, my only regret is not finding these sooner. These blades cut 3 times faster than the crappy pruning blades i was using before and substantially less vibration. Definitely would recommend these. I do a lot of pruning with a sawzall as I have over 30 acres of forest I maintain.
