Detects from 15 feet awai in all directions
Works as advertised when it's fixed on the ceiling . When fixed on a wall , it does not work , it's a ceiling light after all , so for stairs it works if it's fixed on the ceiling . And it's strictly for indoors , when fixed in the basement , the light turns on even in the slightest of motion like leaf movement , car cover fluttering in the wind etc..

Nice addition to every home
Really handy lights for safety in the night. Motion sensor works perfectly and saves you from the hassle of always moving towards light switches when moving around in the dark. Overall, a pretty nice extra addition to all homes. Might be especially useful for houses with children and elderly. Compact sized and easy to install too.

Not working as expected
First of all, This is just motion detection which works irrespective of day or night. So no lux sensor (Means it will not sense the day light and works in all time) Functionality: 1. It is supposed to switch off in a minute if there is no motion sense, But it keeps running even if there is no motion . So we can't rely on. 2. It sometimes works fine & most of the time not works as expected. 3. Also it flickers during its operation. Though its very low flickering, but we could able to sense the flickering. 4. So waste of money to buy this product.

Awesome motion light
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Very good product, 10 Watts sufficient light for foyer area. 15 feet detection with radar. White light. Awesome get one and use. Easy installation.

Size need to little big
It is very small size, lighting is ok.

Small, good light but over sensitive
I mainly bought this for motion detection capability for Bathroom so it auto lights up when door opens. However it is so sensitive that if the door is open and there is someone going in bedroom (to which washroom is attached) or roams around outside of the house in corridor (to which the Bathroom window opens), it lights up. Once it lights, within 1 min if it detects motion, it doesn't turn off. Sp practically it remains on most of the time in my installation. It maybe good for sparingly visited areas. Not good for washroom

Highly recommended
After initially buying this and installing I was dismayed and returned the product. I found that the light was always on and did not go off automatically. Then I bought this product again and tested it and found that it is working as expected or rather more than expected. It senses movement even behind closed wooden door and that is why I was finding the light always on. Very good value for money from a known brand
