Nothing bad to say about the build and finish BUT there ...
Nothing bad to say about the build and finish BUT there is some small but noticeable play on the camera side (I have an X-E1) which is quite annoying especially when using heavy lenses or lenses with slightly stiff focus or aperture. At £7 it isn't really worth the hassle of returning so I'll keep it as a spare and get a better machined (and alas much more expensive one) from Fotodiox. Beware of false economy!Edit: after some days of use I've decided to dock one star as the wobble DOES cause problems sometimes. Twice already I've had a lens come partially unscrewed while setting the diaphragm - doesn't inspire confidence at all. As expected, there is now another adapter on its way to me and this one will end up in the limbo of dead gear.

Fujifilm X Mount - M42 Lens Adapter
This works very well on my Fujifilm X-E1 and has allowed me to use several of my old East German and Pentax M42 screw lenses with fantastic results in some cases. Of course, the lenses have to be manually focused and only stopped down aperture priority metering is possible but this works very well with the Fujifilm X mount cameras because they incorporate an effective manual focussing aid. There are plenty of used M42 lenses available but some sellers are asking ridiculously high prices. This adapter, however, is very well made and and very reasonably priced.

Fit too tight to the lens not tight enough to the body.
Like the Nikon / Fuji one of these that I bought it is too tight a fit to the lens and too loose a fit to the camera boy. (Fuji XE1).Thes are quite a bit cheaper than the K&F and are well enough made and work OK but I can't live with the slight looseness.

Does its job fine. Good quality metalic construction.
It feels sturdy and is a good quality product. Mounted my old lenses (Helios 44M-4 58mm and Auto Exactar 35mm) from a Zenit SLR and use them with a Fujifilm X-A1. Obviously you need to manualy focus the lens. The only drawback is that the aperture closing mechanism of the lenses cannot be triggered, so you always shoot with the aperture wide open. For me that's not so much of a problem as the Helios lens has a wide aperture (f/2 in full frame cameras) and so it's fine for portraits with nice bokeh. I have been using it for almost a year and it does it's job fine.

Great value basic adapter
Received this morning. There's a very small amount of play on the camera side, but having shot off a few frames with my Jupiter-9 85mm lens (which weighs over 400g) nothing to worry about. It's quite bulky - bigger in diameter than the Jupiter, which isn't exactly sylph-like. But for the money, really well worth having.

Works well on XT1
I bought this to attach an old Helios lens onto a Fuji XT1. Works perfectly. It makes a great connection with the camera and lens, no wobble or wiggle at all. Already taken some nice photos with this.

Reasonable price and does the job!
This adaptor lets me put old Pentax m42 mount lenses onto my fuji x pro1. It works just fine for my needs, the only small problem I have I that with my fujinon 55mm 1.8 the aperture ring is right at the base of the lens and when it is attached to the adaptor I am unable to turn the aperture ring. But who buys a lens like that to shoot at f8 anyway? Set the aperture to 1.8 attract to adaptor and off you go.

Great 42mm Adaptor
Very nicely made, fit is excellent, well worth the money but not had it long enough to comment on how it may performs with lens attached and quality of image it produces.

l'adattatore è ben fatto, tutto in metallo, aggancia bene al corpo macchina senza giochi, lo consiglio rispetto ai più costosi in commerciospedizione puntuale e precisa

Non lo consiglio
In metallo, è robusto. Si avvita bene all'obbiettivo.
