The sun roof on our son's Volvo would randomly leak. We live in Coastal Georgia and get a lot of rain. The sun roof might leak 1 out of 10 storms or it could leak 8 out of 10 storms. It's a 15 year old car, so not really worth spending money to fix it. This seal works very well. So far, there have been no leaks and we've had a really bad storm the other day that dropped over 1.5 inches of rain in about an hour. It looks professional. You wouldn't know it didn't come from the factory with the seal. The fit was perfect. I was a little concerned with how it would work around the corners. I was afraid it might buckle, but it did not. The adhesive is strong. If you mess up, you can fix it, but only if you go off track by a couple millimeters because the adhesive sticks so well. Installation was a breeze. It did not come with directions, but I figured we should clean the area first, so we just sprayed some 90% rubbing alcohol around the sun roof and cleaned the area. It was a hot day, which might help with installation. I expect the adhesive would really stick well on the hot surface. We started a little down from a corner and pulled a few inches of the red tape covering the adhesive. We laid it down a few inches, then pulled some more of the red tape. My son went behind me really pressing down on the seal to help install. We just followed the seam around the whole sun roof. I would recommend using a pair of sharp scissors to make the cut. We used a box cutter as that is what we had close at hand. It cut fine, but not perfectly straight. The seal overlapped in a small section, maybe a cm long. I was able to work it a little and make a good seal, but if I think there is ever a problem with the seal, it will be where they join. Even if this seal has to be replaced once a year, it is definitely worth the money.

This seal works better than expected and it saved me hundreds $$$ plus a lot of worry when it rains. Ive been using this about two months. I was getting water under my floor mats. I had it checked at the dealer and they said it was the sunroof. Repair cost $500. There were no leaks on the head liner, so I went to an autobody shop and they blew the sunroof drainage lines clear, but said I'd have to do it on a regular basis or my floor boards will rot and form mold. That would causes $100s to fix. The seal has a great adhesive and doesn't come off when went or blown off when driving. I have the car since 2016, just reached 41k mileage. I think I opened the sunroof wide open twice. So, I won't miss the air from it when driving, but I still have the advantage of the sun coming through it. That is most important. It's a shame, had sunroofs before, but first car with a sunroof problem. I bought, I think the middle size pack and have half left as backup if I need after an automatic car wash.

Ehh the product was absolutley terrible. Despite putting Permatex Weather Stripping Adhesive On the Weatherstrips in addition to the adhesive strip already on the Weatherstrip itself the Weatherstrip still didnt stay down and started coming up off of my roof within a day or 2 which allowed water to get underneath. It was a complete waste of time and money. The adhesive strip on the weather strip need to be way stronger and shouldn't require any additional adhesive, I think it may be the rubber the strip is made of causing the lack of adherence since the permatex didn't work on the Strip either but that's a just a guess. I am extremely disappointed. I actually want a refund for this horrible product. I wouldnt recommend buying this if you need to keep water from getting through somewhere.

Not very impressed, the rubber keeps popping up and allowing water in, I have had to cut it numerous times and put a new piece where I cut it to attempt to seal it and job looks sloppy now and still don't know if it's going to work.. get glue if buying this or good luck to you...

The best Weather Stripping I've ever used. Easy as 1,2,3 done. Self adhesive bonds quickly and secured. No better product for the low price. The T-Shape make fitting perfect. Seal remained perfect during drive through car wash.
