Very good coffee table. This is just what I was looking for. The instructions to assemble the table are not quite clear, but there are not too many parts, therefore it is just intuitive to assemble. Once completed, the table is not too big, but this is exactly what I was looking for since it is replacing another table that it was just too big for my space. Table is sturdy, and it looks nice with the rustic style. No problem lifting and lowering the tabletop. Once the tabletop is up, it keeps there safely with no issues, and it is easier to lower down again. Convenient hidden storage compartment to keep your laptop for example, or whatever you need to store.

I love this coffee table more than I thought I would. It’s larger than I thought it was going to be, the storage is amazing, and it functions amazing. It’s so smooth and easy to move! I will say it seems to be pretty scratch resistant and I definitely hit it with the screwdriver a few times while putting it together. It took a bit to build, maybe 2 hours? And it says to have two people build it and I definitely suggest that. I built it alone and putting the top on was tricky but doable. It seems sturdy and doesn’t wiggle around with movement and the material is a good size and not too thin or bulky. All in all I’d definitely say this was worth the cost!

The table is nice, but it has some issues. It came with some scratches (no big deal), but the corners were broken off, and since it's plywood, it just keeps chipping off everywhere. The hydraulic part is the biggest problem. It moves differently on each side, regardless of how many times it was checked for evenness, tightness, etc. It makes it really hard to lift up the top of the table, and then when closing it, you have to close each side separately because they aren't working evenly. I suspect something is wrong with the hydraulic piece itself. I would love troubleshooting help or replacement parts to help fix the issue.

A little tricky to put together but managed ok. Nice addition to my living room handy storage really like it.

I have struggled with the rating I was going to give this table. If you have never assembled furniture that came with multiple bags of parts, DON'T START WITH THIS. On assembly, I would give this one or two stars. But the finished product...five stars. I put this together over the weekend (while watching tv) and it took me Saturday AND Sunday to complete. This was easily my hardest assembly EVER and I've put together a lot of IKEA-style furniture. If you still want it, here are some notes: 1. When the instructions mention "Method 1" vs "Method 2", that is just referring to the bottom shelf height. Do you want it higher or lower? 2. Get a cordless screwdriver or at a minimum a ratcheting screwdriver (that's what I had). 3. When installing the swivel brackets, pay special attention to the picture. I screwed them in facing the WRONG direction and had to unscrew 12 screws and do it all over. 4. Attaching the swivel top with the brackets on it was the hardest part. If you are assembling this alone, get a stack of books the top can rest on while you're screwing it in. Next, screw in the screws from the open side at the back. The finished product is PERFECT, but a lot of work.
