Needed a replacement switch for my 1985 Toyota HiLux and this was equivalent to the factory switch. Installed easily and works perfect. Not sure as to what the disability or longevity will be but it is working well..

Did not work, did not fit, I have no use for it. Can't even return it.

With these vehicles are getting older. It's harder to find replacement parts. Especially if you want the factory stuff. Unfortunately the the ignition module is discontinued from Toyota.Currently working on a 1986 Toyota 4-Runner with 4 cylinder. The OEM ignition module been faulty and it would leave the truck stalling at time. Ordered this replacement one, though I initially had a bad feeling about buying non factory ignition products. Well at this point I don't have much of a choice.To my surprise. The connectors are well made. Everything snaps into the factory harness with no issues. Everything is literally plug and play. Plug the connectors in and bolts down the aluminum module and the truck fired right up without any hesitation. Everything is made just like the factory version. The connectors fits nice and snug and has the o ring to prevent moisture and debris get I to the connections.So far everything works with no issues. The truck started up right away and is now running good. Great cheaper alternative replacement parts.

Failed within a few weeks of light use, leaving me stranded on the freeway. Was able to source an oem igniter that works perfectly. I took this one apart and the internal electronics are beyond cheap with very poor quality soldering work. Don’t bother.

Junk, didn't work right out of the box.
