Didnt work on Win10
Beware doesn't work on Windows 10. I'm not sure if this is really class compliant. Its the only Midi interface I have that Win10 doesn't detect. It sees it as a USB device.I have the Miditech 4 and 8 port interface and they work really well. So watch out for this one.

A Reasonably Priced MIDI interface which is Plug and Play
Having been disappointed by a very cheap MIDI interface, which is also available on Amazon, I was rather anxious about this one.I bought two units and they both worked perfectly when plugged into a Linux machine. I, also, tried one out on a Windows machine and it was fine.The usb plug has two lights to indicate MIDI OUT and MIDI IN signals, the cable length is usefully long and the interface seems well and robustly manufactured. The MIDI OUT and MIDI IN plugs are in different colours (black and white) and are also marked by large text. The text is moulded into the plastic of the plug and is not easy to see unless well lit.This seems an ideal way to connect vintage MIDI devices to your DAW. If you need longer cable connections, it is easy to buy a suitable MIDI cable and MIDI barrel couplers.

Doesn't work
DOESN'T WORK.Triggers an E3 note on message when a sustain pedal is pressed. Not very helpful.Found out too late to return.From a bit of research around the web it seems this is the case with a lot of these cheap midi usb cables. Pay more and get one that works, seems to be the best bet.
