1000 "Derby Premium" Single Edge Razor Blades for straight razor

I use blades a lot. Atleast 30 blades a week. These are great bang for the bucks blades

I’m a barber, and one haircut pays for this pack of 1000 razors…. So you do the math when the average haircut is $40. Blades are sharp and crisp, and worth the money

The only razors I like using. Single edge blade is easy to load into razor holder don't have to break like double edge.

This review based off my personal experience and a few other reviews I've seen.These premium blades DO come in green papers, which are reminiscent to Derby's lower end blade. Just check the blade itself and it will say Premium.Biggest Initial problem is that these blades didn't cut as well as cheaper blades... Until I realized my error. I have an adjustable razor. If these blades are used on the narrowest selection, they won't cut hardly at all. They will skid. However, when I adjusted the angle selectior to a number 3 or 4, these blades work perfectly. So these blades might not work for you folks who don't have and adjustable razor.With regular blades I have been able to use them about 3 times maximum before throwing away. These blades, for me, can be used around 2.5 times. Maybe more if you don't mind pressing harder. Which is creepy and dangerous.These blades aren't an excellent value for money simply because it's 300 single sided blades. As opposed to double sided blades. So if you're used to double sided, such as I, this pack turns into "150" blades. Still better than a 30 pack of Gillette right?

After trying many razors, all Derby razors are the best for sharpness and longevity. While maybe not the absolute sharpest, they last much longer than most because of their coating. I don't like razors that are so sharp they cut, nick, and weep, so it does depend on preference. If you want a good smooth shave and a razor you can get more than a few shaves out of, I would highly recommend these.

One of the packages was ripped open with a box of blades missing. Trying to contact for a refund… we’ll see.
