Needed for 4K
i was having issues with an older HDMI 1080p IOGEAR KVM device that worked perfectly until i replaced my existing monitor with a 4K TV, so bought this new 4K model and bingo problems of syncing video signal were a thing of the past. IOGEAR equipment is excellent value for the dollar!glad i found the solution and was able to stay with this reliable brand. highly recommended!!!fast delivery from AMAZON :-)

It works, but it isn't feature complete.
I bought the GCS62HU right before the pandemic began in 2020. Since then, it has been a complete awesome working aid, helping me manage two computers with my KB and Mouse. However, after finding some deals, i switched from 24'' TN 1080p monitors to 27'' IPS 4K monitors... and the issues began. The GCS62HU switch is definitely NOT meant to do 4K not even at 30 Hz, so i decided to get this model, the GCS92HU.Overall, i like it. Driving 4K 60 Hz monitors like its nothing, and i like the fact there are less cables going out of this, as the previous model had one cable for keyboard and one for mouse, and this one integrates both into one cable. I also got very happy that there is no longer that pesky "keyboard/mouse emulation" the old model did, so my nice office peripherals (oddly enough, Logitech gaming KB and mouse because of the extra buttons for macros and functions) worked flawlessly no matter what i did.My only gripe, and the reason i removed one star, is that the old model had EDID Emulation, that made it appear as if no monitors were swapped, so there was no flashing or random window resizing/relocation when switching from computer A to computer B. However, this new model, albeit more expensive, does NOT include that very valuable mode. I had to buy external EDID emulators that sit between my computers and this switch, so adding yet more expense to an already not cheap purchase. But other than this minor to medium-sized gripe, i'm really liking this switch.

Very satisfied with this KVM
Ordered this device for use with a laptop and my gaming desktop. This works well for what I am doing, not using any of the audio connections. It takes 2-5 seconds to switch between two PCs which seems good to me for the device. No issues with it, seems like a great brand and I was happy to find out that the supplied cords were long enough to reach both computers.

Static in the line
Does this solve my problem? It sure does.Would be nice to have an inicator on the switch to let you know which ports are in use but, whatever. It's a binary switch and not hard to figure out. However, where this device falls short is in the audio quality. The quailty of the cable is not the best which allows for a bunch of static in the line.At this point, I'm tempted to crack this thing up and upgrade the wires to a higher grade with gold connections to mitigate the issue.
