Perfect for Self Regulation
I am an Early Childhood Principal. I have one of these as an options for disregulated friends in my office. This has been a perfect addition especially for students with trauma that just need a quiet dark place to regulate. Students choose this for an option over the majority of my sensory regulation tools. Add some pillows and the lights with some fidget tools and it is perfect!

Poorly designed and cheap material
I returned this. There is no way this would easily/quickly set up and take down repeatedly. It has poles similar to camping tent poles, but they strain against the fabric which is of poor quality and will not last. This type/weight of fabric is not suitable for children moving in and out of it, after one set up the stitching in the seams was already pulling and a child had not even used it yet.It was of good size for children 10 and under. If they changed out the material (better quality, heavier gauge/weight), and redesigned the way it sets up it would be a good product. As it is now, definitely NOT worth the hassle or the cost.

Perfect for hard to fit corner! Do not need to nail both sides!
My son has been requesting a calming corner. I have been looking, we only had one free “corner” in the house but that also has a door. I bought this not realizing the directions wanted it nailed on both sides. I was able to nail only the top, the sides actually just sit there. For the most part it holds up well, of my son or dog pulls tugs it, in falls down and I put right back, that’s not very often! Highly recommend if you have a hard to fit corner! Can definitely be used somewhere you can’t nail the top middle part with 2 sides. Just need to nail the top, of course if you nailed the sides it wouldn’t fall.

A little on the small size.
I bought this for my grandson so that he could watch his tablet and decompress. It’s not extremely hard to put together but it’s not large enough for a 4 year old to lie down in without hanging out the door. So if you’re looking for something for them just to sit it - you’re good. If you’re thinking they can sleep or nap in it - no go.

Poles broke through seams
Shortly after set up , I could see that the support poles were breaking through the seams.

Absolutely love this, fast easy set-up, quick sensory escape.
I cannot tell you that this is so appreciated! If you have kids that have sensory overload, anxiety, or just want a quiet place that keeps them close, but offers quiet isolated space, this is it. We have been building blanket tents, box forts, I got another tent with all the sticks and rods and it takes forever to put up...... we've tried a lot. While all of these worked, they take a lot of time to put together and take down, and we realize that we needed a quicker solution for better results. If it takes too long to put together, it was compounding the anxiety and frustration. This little tent is so great. Okay, now first opening it, I did without anyone around so I could air it out, I highly recommend it just because it is a poly product and may have a bit of a plastic smell to it. But it was up in a couple of minutes (I'm a pro now after a couple of uses, so now it is less than a minute). I didn't use the little lights yet, but will eventually light them up. It is nice and dark inside so a little light goes in there, along with a pillow and a blanket. I do like that there is an attached bottom to it, as the fully enclosed space. Even if there is movement or an accidental lean into the side walls, it won't tip over or uncover since it's like a little cocoon.I thought it would be a bit small, but it is a fantastic size for smaller kids. I am so happy with it, but more importantly, the kids absolutely love it. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Nice size tent, easy up/down
THIS DOES NOT POP-UP! Description says: "This sensory product for children with autism has a pop-up design for convenience and can be set up and taken down in minutes without tools." This makes it sound like it's one of those that pops up on it's own and you twist it all in right ways to make it back into something the right size for the storage bag. Yes, it can be taken up and down easily and fairly quickly. It was very easy to assemble, just put each end of the poles into the pockets and hook the velcro loop on the side to keep it in place. BUT you do have to assemble the poles and place them inside the tent. That makes it something that we keep up and takes up floor space instead of something he can pull out when he wants to use it and easily fold up and put away when he's done. Nice size tent for the 10 year old to hide in to play on the tablet when he wants to shut out the rest of the household...but you can buy the same size tent with the same set-up style for less.
